After purchasing all different kinds of dog mats for the car in search of the perfect one, I think I’ve finally found the one! My 80lbs labrador and 90lbs german shepherd love traveling with us wherever my family goes, and two things that we were always worried about were 1. ruining the leather seats and 2. shedding (the amount of shedded fur they accumulate is crazy!) Not only does this mat cover pretty much the majority of our backseats to prevent it from being damaged, it also provides just enough space for the 2 dogs to sit comfortably in. Unlike the previous mats that I own, this mat has a supporting wood that is definitely sturdy enough for both dogs AND a safety net that prevents them from attempting to jump to the front, whereas the other mats are thin and often slides around despite being strapped in. Installation was super simple and if you have dogs like mine that shed a lot, vacuuming the fur and cleaning the mat? Not a problem & easier than ever! Highly recommended and so glad that I found this amazing product!

I've tried various back seat covers before and I was struggling to find one that's fully functional. I finally decided to give this one a try and both my dogs and I love it! There are a couple of things that matter to me the most. Upon opening the bag, I was very impressed with the quality. The smell was almost non noticeable, which is a huge plus for me. It was super easy to install, took me only a few minutes. My golden is about 75lbs and my aussie is about 55lbs. Both can lay down comfortably. The board holds their weight with ease. The extender fully covers the gap between the front and back seats. In the past, I often find my dogs half standing (if not fully) on the floorboard. This seat extender solves this issue for me. I have a full size sedan and it fits perfectly. It also stays put. The material of this seat extender is thick enough that it stays in place, especially on the back of the back seats. It says it's reversible but I haven't tried the other side yet.

I have a German shepherd and a St. Bernard mix (both Large dogs) and I needed to prevent them from falling on the floor when a fast stop was needed. The extender itself is great, but the straps that hold it are not. The clips are cheap and unreliable so the extender loses it support and goes from a solution to a problem. This is easily fixable with the right length of rope and a bowline knot. Getting the length right and tying a knot can be a struggle for some. For those, I might suggest putting a sturdy box under it to hold it up or trying another brand. For me, this item is worth the small alterations needed, a 600lb weight capacity is one of the best I have found and with both my dogs being service dogs they have a lot of responsibilities so they are always with me while I also train dogs for others. Meaning they are heavily and regularly used. This product is worth it to me, it might not be for someone else. Hope this helps.

I have purchased several car seat protectors for my dogs. This one is probably the best, even if it is missing a couple features that I wish it had. This seat protector comes in a handy carrying case so it can be neatly stowed away if you don’t need it on the seat. The material is thick and sturdy, and the zippers are well made. It takes a little bit of adjusting when attaching to the front seats to find the perfect length of the straps, but once attached it’s very stable. There is Velcro at the seatbelt area so you can attach a harness through the protector. The seat extender doesn’t quite reach up to the front seats on my car. I drive a 4Runner and I’m short, so my seat is pulled up pretty far forward, but it still is provides a good platform for my dogs. I like that it can easily be folded over in half if you need to use one of the seats for a human rider. It would be nice if it included side covers to protect the doors, but that’s not a huge downside. I also wish that there was a center opening on the back that could be unzipped for the center console to flip down. I have a dog that doesn’t like to jump in from the side of the car, but will jump in from the back. A center opening would allow her to enter through the back of the vehicle. I think you’ll be quite happy with the quality of this seat protector.

I’ve been looking for a back seat cover/extender for my dog for a while. This concludes my search. Super pleased with the purchase! It fits perfectly in my car. Takes seconds to setup or remove into a neat package. The material is very sturdy and more than capable of holding up to my 50 lb fur baby!

Just got this installed and we love it especially the leather quality. I’ve used a couple of different brands rear seat extenders, all of them are with nylon surface which my husband doesn’t like (my dog scratched it all the way on the trip) so we decided to try something different. The leather that comprises this cover looks very durable and solid, most importantly my dog doesn’t scratch it anymore! !!! This cover comes with a zipped case (and yea I love details and love companies that pay attention to details) the case has two handles so it’s easier to collect dog toys or snacks to go. This extender fills up the space between front/rear seats, I don’t need to worry about my dog falling off the seat in the middle of trip, the extended space feels very comfortable and supportive by me and my dog sitting on it. Can imagine it to be a good portable bed when the spring comes for a nice camping with my dog and kids. One recommendation I would give to the seller is to provide more color options.
