The Bach TR200S Series Bb Trumpet is an excellent intermediate horn for a variety of musical settings. This trumpet features a Stradivarius-style casing with a standard .459” medium-large bore and a two-piece hand-hammered yellow brass bell. The TR200S has a few professional features, such as the Monel pistons and the 1st valve thumb saddle.

This is a very nice looking trumpet. However when I play it the number 2 valve is occasionally slow to return to the up position. This is despite several applications of top quality valve oil. At first I thought this problem would eventually take care of its self but this has not happened. I am not sure where to go from here. Do you have any suggestions? ... show more

Well i waited a long while after i got this horn (4 years ago) to give a review but this may help someone in making a decision. It is a wonderful instrument. I feel that the weight of the instrument (slightly heavy) helps with the tone produced and once broken in is the perfect weapon of destruction on the trumpet line or the most gentlest piece in the concert halls.
