  • Worth every single penny
I've had this trumpet for a month now, and couldn't be happier. This trumpet is based off the original drawings of the model 37 made by Vincent Bach. Bach (the company) went back and reveiwed those original drawings, and perfected them. First things first, it's absolutely beautiful. The engraving on the bell is excellent, and it something you don't typically see on other Bach trumpets. It sounds fantastic. Before I bought this trumpet, I was playing the original version of this trumpet, a 1972 model #37. I can tell you, the new one sounds much better. I checked all the notes and they all sing fantastically and were prefectly in tune. What's also really cool is the case it comes in. It's a special edition, and the logo on the front is the original Bach logo, and on the inside of the case, it's red instead of blue. Before I bought this trumpet, I went into my local music store and played just about all of their "professional" trumpets. I liked this one much more than the Xeno and the Bach #43. Everything about this trumpet feels so sturdy and you can sense the love and care Bach put into making it. I know this trumpet will last a lifetime. I enjoy playing this instrument so much, and it's added a whole new vibe in the practice room, as I am excited to dig into things, where as before, it seemed like a chore. As an aspiring professional trumpet player, I highly recommend it. I love this trumpet, and so will you. ... show more

Beautiful sound, beautiful engraving. The valves are superior to anything I've played. My son has been playing my horn (30+ years old). This was an awesome present for him!
