  • Interior width too wide for standard crib mattresses
Style: Crib Color: White
We bought this, and put in the time to assemble it. Unfortunately, after weeks of searching, we cannot find a any crib mattresses that will fit properly. We have compared against other cribs, and this crib is about an inch wider on the interior than most cribs -- causing there to be a large and dangerous gap with standard mattresses. We have lost so much time searching for a mattress that fits -- now we are giving up and just buying a new crib. Beware! ... show more

  • Awesome, buy it!
Style: Crib Color: White
We just welcomed our third child and each has had their own crib, so I know something about all this. For the first two I looked for value (I always do) and ended up getting cribs around $150, highly rated, looked nice, and most importantly worked well and lasted for years. Both my older children, now 5 and 3, used their cribs for three years--we converted the cribs to toddler beds at some point. So, your thinking, why is this person telling me about their awesome experience with cheaper cribs that they seemed to really enjoy, but in a review for the Babyletto? Well, I just finished assembling the Modo and I am in awe. It was the easiest crib I've ever assembled, is beautiful, and the most sturdy. Good furniture feels like this crib and this crib feels like good furniture, the kind you can hand down, the kind you move with you even when you know it's heavy AF. I'm pretty sure, when we convert this to a toddler bed, I'll be able to sit or sleep on it and I'm like 280lb. I got a great deal by adding this crib to our baby registry (15% off, thanks Amazon), but I would honestly pay full price for it, and I live for value. It's beautiful, sturdy, and easy to put together. Also, shipped well, not a ding in the whole box. Great product! ... show more

  • Stunning Crib for any nursery
Style: Crib Color: White
Bought this as a gift for son and our first grandchild. This crib is stunning and very on trend. Assembly was easy and hassle free. Brings style and coziness to any nursery. Quality is very nice. You’ll find the same crib on other sites for much higher costs. Although the delivery window said 1-3 months the crib arrived within 10 days. Note the delivery window was large because we found out this is a popular crib that seems to sell out quickly. ... show more

  • Disappointed.
Style: Crib Color: White
I’ve never written a review before but this product was extremely disappointing. Overall the crib looks very nice and seems very sturdy. I should have looked at the piece before building the crib. Their was a lot of chipped pieces and scraps. I will be contacting manufacturer to see about replacement parts. I know it’s not the most expensive crib on the market but spending nearly $300 I expected to have a crib with out any “visual defects”. ... show more

Style: Crib Color: Grey/White
Only reason why we bought it was because as a short mom (4’10”) we could take the legs off. It’s still not the perfect height, but when you are my height that is the best you can do. The crib is beautiful. My main issue though is that the mattress doesn’t cover every corner and because of that we had to put rolled up towels between the mattress and the crib so that the little one wouldn’t get stuck or hurt. And I’m sure that alone will deter parents. Unfortunately because of my height, this was our only choice after much research. ... show more

  • Good Transitional Toddler Bed
Style: Crib Color: White
My husband and I decided to purchase this product to transition our toddler from sleeping in a crib to a toddler bed. We like the simple and sleek design of the bed. The packaging was good and all of the necessary parts were included. The only defects we found are some small indents in the wood that are noticeable only when examined closely. We did not try to remove the warning labels on the wood as they seem like they would be difficult to remove. My husband had no issues with assembly. There are other reviews which mention that the toddler rail does not align correctly and that there is a gap. We did not have this issue. Assembly of the toddler rail was easy. There is no gap between the bottom of the rail and the base of the bed. The extra screw holes in the bed frame are exposed, but we do not mind that. We purchased a Babyletto mattress that fits with this bed. The black metal mattress support frame is noticeable if a bed skirt is not used. Our toddler has been sleeping in this bed for approximately one half of a year now. Although he has caused some minor scratches on the surface of the wood with his toys, the scratches are easily concealable by using a touch up paint pen. However, the pen must be purchased separately by contacting Babyletto. I think the pen should be included with the purchase of this product. ... show more

  • Beware of product damage and more
Style: Crib Color: White
The product came damaged. The box itself had damage, but didn't look deep until we lifted one of the sides which matched the damage on the box. Looked like the edge of a crate lift or something scraped it. So frustrating since this is not a cheap crib. I really wanted to give it a 5 star because it should be beautiful simple crib. The legs of the crib...2 of them had incorrect holes so we did not use some screws and pegs as per instruction since the alignment of the holes were completely off. Took us a few tries to figure that out. Wasted a lot of time. Shouldn't have been that difficult. This is the second babyletto product we've tried. The first crib was completely damaged but we saw that with the first piece so we didn't even unpack the box. Unfortunately, we didn't see the damage with this one till later into the assembly. I've bought walmart crib for half the cost and was fantastic for years! Super Disappointed. ... show more

  • Stylish, functional and has withstood the test of time!!
Style: Crib Color: Espresso/White
Absolutely love this crib! Purchased in 2011 for our first little one and using again now with our second. This crib has been used as a crib as well as a toddler bed and seen fairly consistent use over the last 6 years. It has held up very well! Love that it's low to the ground; so much easier to get baby in and out, and as a toddler bed it's perfect for little ones to climb in and out of on their own. The paint and stain still look as good as the day we got it, except for the few areas our children have used it to teethe. To combat that, I tied fleece along the top rails. Would definitely recommend this crib and would buy it again (if needed) in a heartbeat! ... show more
