I’ve always used A&D for my fresh tattoos, but decided to try this for the first time, and I’m SO glad I did! My healing process used to take about 2 weeks. It would peel for like 4 days & itch like crazy for a week or so, but with THIS cream, my tattoo was completely healed within about a week!! It only peeled for about two days, and only itched a little bit here & there for about a day. What I loved about this is that it doesn’t burn, and doesn’t leave you looking greasy. A little goes a LONG way. My tattoo artist told me “Using nothing would be better than using too much” so just keep that in mind. I’m never using anything else for my future tattoos, after seeing what this stuff could do! If ur getting a tattoo and haven’t used this before, just give it a chance. It’ll blow you away! Also, I got this for pretty cheap and it’s HUGE, but when I went to Walmart the other day I saw something less than half the size of this for double the price, so Amazon is definitely the way to go! it’s bigger than i thoughttt and it’s big for the price, this works so well on my lips and it leaves them soft for hoursss without having to reapply. it doesn’t feel heavy on your lips and a little goes a LONGGG way. personally i have good sized lips and i need less than a pea size dot, more than that is too much. (REVIEW ENDS HERE BUT I HAVE A LITTLE BACKSTORY) i ordered this because i had forgotten my chapstick and i’ve tried a lot of chapstick brands but i always have to reapply in order for my lips to say moisturized for a long time, today since i had no chapstick, i had asked my friend for some and she gave me some of her aquaphor. i got some and it made my lips feel so soft for almost 3 hours without reapplying. i thanked her for letting me get some and told her i was ordering on amazon asapp. so that’s exactly what i did. i payed for same day shipping today and it got here, i put it on and my lips felt so moisttt. i DEFINITELY recommend:) ... show more

I have always has chapped skin on and around my nose and mouth. I moisturize every day and I add extra moisturizer to my dry skin areas, but the dry patches have always persisted. I bought Aquaphor after using Vaseline for a short period. I like that aquaphor didn't stink like Vaseline does. The Aquaphor has completely taken away the dry skin! I clean my face every night and apply Aquaphor to the areas that are typically dry. I also put aquaphor under my eyes to help keep that area moist and prevent dark circles.     • The holy grail for chapped lips!

I don't know what black magic is in this tube, but it WORKS! I used to have the most chronically chapped and peeling lips ever. I tried everything - drinking tons of water, applying Chapstick, Burt's Bees, Carmex, O'Keefe's, and even Vaseline throughout the day...some brands were better for my lips than others, but I always had to re-apply them anywhere from hours to minutes later. The peeling skin was always there, the chapstick just kinda stuck it down, but eventually the chapstick would dry from my lips and the skin would come up again. I could never wear lipstick because it looked awful with my peeling skin. I developed a nervous habit of chewing on my lips, trying to bite off the peeling skin, which of course was a vicious negative spiral which caused my lips to peel more and eventually bleed. The only relief I could get was with super hydrating lip gloss, but then my lips were glittery and super shiny and wet looking, which made me look like a teenager lost in the 90s. I wanted matte-lipped sophistication, damnit! Then I tried Aquaphor. I figured, why not, I've tried everything else, and this big tube is pretty cheap. When I first opened it, I thought it was basically repackaged Vaseline based on its consistency. Vaseline hadn't worked for me in the past so I was a bit disappointed, but smeared a little on my lips right before bed anyways. The next morning, my lips were still moist from the product. I washed my face and wiped off my lips. The dry, dead, peeling skin from the night before had been moisturized into goo that just wiped off, revealing seamlessly healthy skin underneath. No cracks. No edges of dead skin that would start peeling again. Just perfectly moisturized lips like all of the advertisements that I had told myself were photoshopped over the years. I couldn't believe it. Was I one of those people with good lips now?? I thought I had been genetically doomed! I brought the big bottle of aquaphor with me to work, thinking I would need to reapply it to keep my magically healed lips moisturized and happy (after all, even with the most moisturizing chapsticks I still had to reapply every couple of hours). I didn't need it the whole day, even after eating and wiping off my lips. The cracks never reappeared, my lips didn't dry out, no dead peeling skin in sight! I started wearing lipstick sometimes, never having to worry about it collecting on my dead flakey skin. Now, all I do is rub a thin bead of Aquaphor on my lips right before bed (it only takes a little - this bottle is going to last me several years!). Sometimes I get so used to healthy, uncracked lips that I forget to use Aquaphor for a few days, and then my lips start peeling again. All it takes is one application at night and they're back to being healthy and moisturized again! I squeezed some Aquaphor into a little contained to bring with me when I travel, but I don't even bother keeping it in my purse any more because I never need it throughout the day. I used to buy chapstick in bulk so I would always have one or two in every purse, upstairs, downstairs, in my car, at work, or anywhere I'd be. No more! This humble product has changed my life! ... show more

I will be ordering this is the tub version next time, like other reviewers, the blue cap doesn't screw off so I had to use a Scissors to puncture a hole where it dispenses. Hard to squeeze the product out. The product itself is great and alleviates dry skin. I have chronically dry facial skin so I slather this on before bed and it keeps my skin moisturized through the day.. It is greasy though, so most uses are best before bed or when you have extra time to let it soak it in. No scent. ... show more

I use this as a full body lotion because I have severely sensitive skin and I feel that it helps provide an extra layer of protection for me to avoid having any skin issues. I love it. Obviously I use sparingly and don't want to look oily but for me, that's what works.
