  • Surprisingly worth the money
Style: Googly Eyes
Fifty bucks for some toy thing to put onto an already-outrageously-priced bouncer? Seriously? Yeah, that's what I said too. But I caved and my daughter thinks this thing just hangs the moon. She started using it at 8 weeks and it really did help her figure out her hands and hand-eye coordination. She'll play with this for 20-30 minutes if given the chance. So five stars to you, weird googly-eyed expensive toy thing. ... show more

Style: Googly Eyes
I asked my wife if we really needed to spend $40 on a piece of a metal with wooden figures on it. She said yes. Reason being, our 4 month old was getting impatient in his babybjorn bouncer quite easily now that he is so curious to see and grab things. I gave in and bought this and it has been a game changer. The baby stays in his bouncer a lot longer than anticipated and keeps him busy. We get to actually sit down and eat, do laundry, dishes, etc. One of the best investments I made in baby products! ... show more

  • sweet design and most importantly
Style: Googly Eyes
Simple, sweet design and most importantly, my baby loves it. Though here and there, the eyes land in such a way as to look like they're pleading for help. The fact that the face has no mouth makes the pleading eyes worse. As if even if they wanted to plead for help, they couldn't. I don't think it bothers the baby at all though, just me. Perhaps if the face had a mouth, particularly in the shape of a smile? Then it would just look like a happy, though kind of intense face and I wouldn't spend my time looking at a baby bouncer guiltily, while rocking the baby to sleep, feeling like I was committing a sin of omission. ... show more

  • Quality toy. Made in Sweden
Style: Googly Eyes
The media could not be loaded. Aside from being ridiculously expensive, I don't have any complaints about this BabyBjörn wooden bouncer attachment. It's a very high quality toy made of wood, plastic, and steel. One reason for the high price is that it's actually made in Sweden (in Bredaryd, southern Sweden to be precise), where wages and standard of living is quite high. You might be forgiven in thinking it's made in China, like the flood of basically... well, everything we buy these days, but I'm happy to say that's not the case here. I have no doubts as to product safety (having lived in Sweden myself, I know how committed they are to safety and social responsibility). The wood is smooth and lacquered very well. It installs easily by just clipping onto the side of the Bouncer. Then it can be slid up or down to adjust to baby's reach. There's no wrong way to install it. Since the toy is symmetrical, there's no "front" or "back" side. The eyes roll and the flowers make noise when spun. It's a lot of fun. If you're thinking about getting one, but are on the fence because of cost, put it on your baby registry like we did. Someone will buy it for you! I'll report back in a few months when my son arrives and he's old enough to interact with it. ... show more

  • Well worth the money. Do it.
Style: Googly Eyes
BabyBjorn has really impressed me. So far out of all the baby gadgets we got, the babybjorn bouncer has out down them all in terms of soothing our newborn especially when she’s fussy. Even more than the ‘mamaroo’. She’s only 7 weeks but is already starting to be aware of her surroundings and demands entertainment.. I was hesitant in spending the money for this little toy attachment, but after reading all the positive reviews I caved, and I have no regrets. She absolutely loves it, and once again, is more entertained by this than any other toy I’ve put in front of her. It’s nice because it attaches right to her other favorite baby gear item (the amazing bouncer) and it encourages her to build strength and reach out and touch the little flowers/ googly eyes, which is also great for brain development. A plus : It’s made nicely with the wood, sturdy, safe, and it’s not obnoxious. I’m so happy that I made this purchase. Worth the hype it gets on here. ... show more

  • Expensive and worth it.
Style: Googly Eyes
This has entertained our baby since we bought it when she was 8 weeks. Now she’s almost 19 weeks and every day she just finds something new and interesting about it, and a new way to learn new skills. It’s not fancy and it’s definitely expensive, but it’s had the longest life of any toy we’ve bought so far in terms of keeping her interest and develop. ... show more

  • Actually worth it - 4 month old loves
Style: Googly Eyes
Honestly, I wasn't too happy with the price after my husband bought it. It just seemed like a very expensive toy, compared to all his other stuff. We LOVE the Baby Bjorn bouncer, and so we kept it in hopes that our little boy would eventually play with it (or even acknowledge it). I'm so glad we did. He is 4.5 months now, and has been enjoying this for several weeks. It took him a while to figure out how to play with it, but now he loves spinning all the different parts and feeling the bumpy edges of the center piece. It is extremely sturdy, and will last through multiple kids. We like that he has a toy that won't fall when we put him in the bouncer. We also use it to prop books on sometimes too. So I think if you have the money and are interested, it's a great high quality companion to the wonderful bouncer as well. ... show more
