  • Worth the extra 10$
We were gifted a large jogging stroller that we love....but its huge. Its so impractical for trips or short trips so we end up leaving it at home and carrying out kid around all the time. My parents bough the cheapest umbrella stroller they could find on amazon. Its very cute...but doesn't really function that well. So...Enter the Baby Trend Rocket Lightweight Stroller! My wife and I got this about 3 months ago as a sturdy but very transportable option for our family. Its like a BOB and an umbrella stroller had a baby. It rolls smooth, feels strong and overbuilt and folds easily. Its light and fits in our trunk with ease. It is easy to fold and unfold once you figure out how to do it. My only Con which is a little ridiculous, is that its a little difficult to drive with one hand. Being parent can be busy and i wish it was just a bit easier to drive while also holding coffee, packages, a dirty diaper.... Overall I'd recommend this to any busy family that wants to travel and needs a strong but transportable stroller. ... show more

  • Great budget compact stroller
The media could not be loaded. I like the size of this stroller when it's folded up. I was looking for something that would fit in my compact hatchback car's trunk while still keeping tools and other stuff in there. It easily opens and closes. The wheels roll really smooth. It feels pretty sturdy. I wish the handle was a little longer, because I'm 5'11" and if I'm not fully extending my arms sometimes I will accidentally step on the break or the wheels. The storage basket is decently sized, it holds a small sling bag and two to three water bottles and still has extra room. Me and my wife will usually take my stroller instead of our city mini GT if we won't be out all day and we need something a little smaller. Overall it's a great value. It's a great budget compact travel stroller. ... show more

  • Compact & Sturdy Stroller
Color: Princeton Black
There are many things I love about this stroller. First of all this is light weight compared to the big Evenflo Pivot stroller/car seat duo we have. I’m not anxious for store runs anymore ever since I got this. It was soo easy to set up & all you have to do is pop in the wheels in each leg & done. It rides super smooth, has rear brakes and a locking mechanism for the front wheels to not turn. I have a big 13 pound 2 month old and the recline feature was perfect & enough. Baby was comfortable and good to know it will last up to 50 pounds ... show more

  • Push button for wheel is just hiding in the frame
UPDATE!! The push pin was just pushed up inside of the frame so it couldnt be seen. Finagled it out and now the stroller is perfect! Babytrend customer service helped by pointing this out. I purchased a "like new" one that was $12 cheaper than new and it arrived with the back stroller legs sticking out of a hole in the box. One of the metal push pins that holds the back wheel on is missing. Not sure if this happened in transit to me or if it was overlooked when it was previously returned and shipped out to me defective. I contacted babytrend using the link Amazon provided and haven't heard anything back in a week. Seems like a nice enough umbrella stroller for the price point. I like the zippered parent pouch and that the sun shade can be moved higher for an older child. We've been trying it around the house (carefully so the back wheel doesn't pop off) with my 30 lb 2 year old my 4 year old (can't remember his weight but he's tall). The front wheels sometimes just slide sideways but hoping that's just because it's not getting traction on the vinyl flooring. I would stay away from the previously returned ones if you're considering it but new would be a good value. ... show more

  • OK, but better options in this price range for lightweight stroller.
I actually purchased this and the Summer Infant 3Dlite Convenience Stroller to see which one I would prefer. I have a 1 YO and 4 YO and was looking for a lightweight stroller that would work to take on a cruise. We currently have a double stroller but that will not fit in the room at the cruise very well. This stroller was compact and light, however, it just didn't feel as sturdy as the Summer Infant. This one does not recline, which the SI does. The shade on this also just lightly attaches so I can see where this could get ripped off easy and lost. We wanted a stroller that stood taller (I'm 6ft, husband is 6'3") so they both worked for that. The SI might be slightly bulkier, however, it has a nice basket underneath and a bag like area that will hold small items. This stroller felt like it was a bit above the cheap $30 ones you can buy but nothing over the top. Overall this would be an okay purchase, however, I would more recommend the Summer Infant 3D. ... show more

  • Great lightweight travel stroller
We purchased this before a trip to NYC and also to have in addition to our full-sized stroller. It's perfect for travelling and very easy to fold up and carry. It weighs about 10 lbs, and when folded it's very small, doesn't take up much room in a trunk. During our trip we checked it at the gate a few times and one of those times they must've tossed it around a bit hard cause one of the back wheels became wobbly, it still worked fine but you could see the wheel spin differently. We used this thing all over NYC for a week and it worked awesome, our baby was always comfortable and even took naps while we pushed her around in it. We both just carried it up and down stairs with our baby in it without much effort, one person by the handles and the other in the front. Would highly recommend and for the price it's perfect for travelling, especially if you'd hate for the airline to damage a more expensive stroller. ... show more
