Long time friends of mine are about to become grandparents. This Go Panda Baby Swing is the perfect gift for them to have on hand. It is suitable for babies from 0-12 months. Unlike the older baby swings my children used, these new types are no longer space taking A-frame style. These have much smaller and stable bases that the baby carrier basket fits onto. With safety in mind, it has a 5 point harness to keep the baby in place while being able to support up to 20 lbs. This one has Gray fabric making it suitable for a boy or a girl. It has 3 timer settings, 12 lullaby tunes and 5 different swing paths. Other bonus features include 3 soft hanging toys to entertain baby. The cloth part of the swing basket is removable and machine washable. It is powered by the included USB cable, (AC power block included). As tested with a 15 lb. weight, the swing performed smoothly. The sound quality is good as well. There is a choice of the 12 included lullaby tunes or it can be Bluetooth paired to your phone and play songs from your phone. It can be operated by the simple controls on the base or the included mini remote, (button battery included). Assembly was a breeze as it only has a few parts, (namely attaching the base "legs" to the control unit). A small offset screwdriver is included to secure the "legs" in place. The media could not be loaded. This swing was so easy to assemble and we were up and running within minutes. It just snaps together and then you plug it in and once it is powered on you can adjust the speed, volume, and choose from the built in songs playlist. Open the box and you can have your baby enjoying this swing five minutes later. The material the seat cushion is made from is so nice and so soft. The hanging toys are so cute and irresistible even to my older children, everyone had a turn playing with the sun, moon, and cloud. The seatbelt is easy to operate and secures the baby in the seat very well. The remote, oh how I love the remote! Every function can be managed using the remote allowing for quick and easy adjusting of the speed of the swing, the volume of the music, and the music selection. If for some reason that isn't enough and you would like to have your own music playing to relax your baby, you have the option to connect to it with Bluetooth and play whatever you want. So if AC/DC calms your baby down, you can play Thunderstruck on loop right from your phone while they have fun with the dangling toys or just drift away with a power nap. I bought this at $159 and I am satisfied with all its options and its build quality. While I didn't take a picture with my baby in this item, I did provide a picture with an American Girl doll for size reference. I found the size to be exactly what I have seem the many other varieties of swing to be so no big news there. Overall I love this swing and it's too bad my older kids didn't have such a nice swing when they were small. But they like it so much that I have to keep an eye on them from trying to get in and swing :) ... show more

This swing is great if you are limited on space. It doesn’t take up a lot of floor space and has a minimal design. It was very easy to put together. The touch display is easy to use on the base while the remote doesn’t always respond. The music built in is interesting, The 12 days of Christmas & Frosty The Snowman are included.     • It’s just ok
My baby hated this at first but grew to like it better. Here are the things I like: -easy to operate with or without remote -toys are engaging -shade works well for blocking out most of the light -nice volume level for the music -gentle swing with various levels -easy to assemble Here is what I don’t like: -the way it’s shaped forces you to have to put the baby rather low down on it. This means when the baby is still small the straps are way too long and his head doesn’t reach the pillow, and when the baby grows bigger his feet almost go over the edge, and they cause the mesh netting to release from the bottom when you have the shade down. The elastic is not strong enough and the shade does not stretch far enough to be more secure against a wiggly baby’s foot and leg movements -My baby is approaching the weight limit and I have still barely had to adjust the straps…again, they were either too long or incorrectly placed or both. -weight limit is 20 lbs I believe—my baby is not even 4 months old yet and is rapidly approaching this weight—I don’t think he will make it to six months before outgrowing this swing. Soon we will not be able to use it anymore and will have to buy another product for heavier/bigger babies Overall I don’t think I would buy this again knowing what I know now. ... show more
