First and foremost, I’d like to point out that I am not a photographer, nor a video editor or some kind of professional who absolutely needed a color accurate, professionally calibrated monitor. I simply wanted a 32in monitor that had a beautiful IPS Panel , with slim bezels and a decent stand. That’s exactly what I received but this monitor is not perfect. Details below: Cons: Price: This is marketed as a professional monitor, so I guess the price is rather reasonable. However, my monitor has a few issues that it should not have for the over $800 price range. Dead Pixel(s): As soon as I got the monitor, I ran several quality control/screen consistency tests and I quickly discovered a dead pixel. The pixels are so tiny, I think the dead pixel might actually be two pixels very close together. The dead pixels were not a big deal as I NEVER notice them, so I didn’t send it back or contact Viewsonic about it. Screen Black- Out Issue: A few times a week, the screen will black out for 2-3 seconds. This issue is infrequent enough for me to tolerate it but it is one that has popped up in several forums online. Mounting: There is NO VESA Mounting holes on this monitor of any sort..so you're pretty much stuck with the stand that comes with it. :-( Pros: BEAUTIFUL IPS screen. The colors on this thing are vivid and punchy, despite the matte coating - which is very light and clear but excellent at avoiding light reflections. 4K resolution on this sized screen is perfect, EVERYTHING IS SHARP. Sexy Design: I’d challenge you to find a 32inch 4K monitor with smaller bezels, a nicer stand and an overall sexier design. The tiny bezels make playing pc games or watching 4K content a wonderful and at times a breathtaking experience! Options: LOTS of picture options for professionals, general media consumers and any and all others in between! Summary: Overall, I think that this monitor is excellent and I do not regret the purchase whatsoever. Is this monitor worth the price? I imagine it might be if you’re a professional who can use it for all its worth. If you’re a simple person who wants a 4K monitor for web browsing and medium consumption, you can save $350 dollars and get another 4K monitors at half the price. ... show more

Style: 32-Inch 4K UHD (Factory Calibrated)
The color accuracy is excellent, the gamut is pretty good, not 100% AdobeRGB but close enough for most photo and graphics work. The brightness exceeds my needs by a considerable amount, so I have to carefully dial it back for work in a dark room (which in turn mars the color accuracy from the factory, but the tradeoff in eyestrain is important). The main issue I have with the VP3268-4K is image retention. It's pretty bad, and can be distracting. There are other screens (including some laptops) that have this and you can find people's accounts for those, but this one will develop retention after only a few minutes of work, say with a white window on a dark grey background. I use a dark Windows 10 theme and all too often after I do something with one window and close it, there's that after-image in its place. This effect can last hours, even days. Turning the display off doesn't 'clear' it, either. You have to run it with a blank screen for a few minutes. Is that a dealbreaker? Maybe not, but it's distracting. And as for all the gaming and other questions, I find it to be perfectly adequate. Certainly the huge dimensions and exceptional color performance (and brightness capability) render its relatively meager response time less relevant for my own uses but then I'm not a hardcore FPS gamer with a dedicated following making Twitch and YouTube content, or playing esports, etc. All in all, the retention makes the monitor an iffy quirky thing to use but if that doesn't put you off, the other aspects are exceptional. Also, the one I got has almost no corner or edge glow like you see with many lower or mid-priced IPS displays. Compared to the 32" 4K VA monitor I bought and returned before this, there's no comparison with color performance and viewing angle flexibility. ... show more

I needed a monitor large enough for learning ; Photoshop and Illustrator. While the right side viewport is playing YouTube instructional videos, on the left side I can have a big version of Photoshop open while I follow the video instructions. Also, if you get a yellow background in the current Photoshop CC (2020) after you've created a new artboard file, my fix was to make sure that after I go to File> New and to also pick the Color Profile= VP3268-4k-sRGB 6500k and it will provide a white background for the new file. No need to make any other changes. As for the monitor itself, love the 32inch wide flat IPS 4k screen. It took me a day to adjust to its size and I'm adapted to using it. I can also have two worksheets of MS Excel side by side. Never go back to a smaller size monitor again and I prefer this to a dual screens setup unless it is dual screen 32 inch monitors. Make sure you install the driver and color inf file VP3268-4k-sRB. I did not need the Colorbration software. As for playing video a 4k Youtube video lag will lag if you have slow internet at 10Mbps download(you need like 25+ Mps download to play smoothly if you can not buffer Youtube) and not usable but anything at and under 1440 will play smoothly. ... show more
