About the swing as a baby shower gift. When the baby arrived, they got it out put it together and it has a remote control, does all kinds of exciting things. I couldn’t wait to see the baby in it. We took her out immediately because the speed kept going from one to five on its own. Nobody was touching the remote. The whole chair was just going too fast and going to sling the baby right out. We had to return and get a refund. I was very disappointed. It was a beautiful chair and I like the design and accessories. I do not recommend this product! ... show more

The cradle is too deep for younger than two months, they aren’t in a safe position at that young. And you can’t use after they are trying to roll. But for the 2.5-4 months age this is a VERY USEFUL tool to rock them asleep. It’s the only way we can get some quiet time to have a meal in the evening.

Purchased this for our newborn. Love that it can be plugged in or use batteries. It's reat that the height can be adjusted for when she gets older. I appreciate that it comes with a remote and don't have to go to the swing to adjust the settings. Truly a great product.
