I purchased this for my 8-month grandbaby. It was exactly what I needed. She loved it. She liked the colors and animals. Out of the box it felt thin, however once it was on the floor it was plush and comfortable. I recommend this mat.

Great mat! Soft, sticky pads on bottom, thick, but firm enough for my 10 month old to walk on and not fall constantly. Came vacuum sealed and washed it on hot, then dried on medium. No shrinkage. Glad I purchased!

The design pattern for a new born baby is nice, and the sticky part at the back is true to be fixed at wooden floors which I have. But the cushioning is not enough for a baby who is 4 months old or older. You could heard the head pounding on the floor as my grandchild started lifting her head up. The material doesn’t smell. Easy to fold and put away. It’s washable to remove lint. Is good to lay baby on their back on the floor for stretching and with mother bounding to the side.
