It’s not the most aesthetic baby toy but the ones babies love most never are. My 5 mo is obsessed with this mat and plays with it for hours each day (about 25-30 mins at a time). She keeps herself so entertained and it has helped her to roll over. She grabs all the toys now and loves looking at herself in the mirror. You can move the mirror to different locations to change up the experience/perspective for them. Having it on the bottom side of the arch is what motivated her to roll onto her side. It’s super easy to put together there are only 4 screws for the main bottom frame pieces. The piano can be easily adjusted (just twists) for baby to kick while laying on their back or you can make it parallel to the ground for them to play while sitting up. We’ve just started helping my daughter sit up by supporting her from behind and she is captivated by the new way to play with her favorite toy. It distracts her enough to where she doesn’t get upset or frustrated by having to do something new. My son is four months old and has been using it since he was about three weeks old. Even though he has been playing on it every single day since, he never ever gets bored of it. The bright colors are attracting to him and the hanging toys always catch his eyes. He loves batting at them. He also loves staring and smiling at himself in the mirror provided. The mat it comes with is soft and easy to wash which is a plus since babies spit up a lot! And don’t even get me started on the music- super cute songs that my husband and I find ourselves humming along to all day. Even my family knows all the words since they have ones at their houses too! This is a MUST for all babies and if this one was to ever break I would order more. Our 6mo LOVES this piano. When he sees it he screeches in excitement and starts flailing his arms and legs. As soon as he’s on the mat he kicks away, plays with the toys, babbles and laughs. He gets upset when we take him away from it and will stomp his foot to let us know he wants to play. We often remove the piano to put under his bouncer or sit up seat so he can still play it. It’s has volume control and different piano modes. The mat comes off to throw it in the wash. The toys are cute and easy to remove to clean or hang on a car seat, stroller, or wherever you’d like.
