Getting up and down from my bed to baby’s crib at night is tiring. This is great because i can put baby on my bed. I dont have to worry about SIDS and I can do those midnight feedings without having to get up. This is especially great when i brought baby home when i was still healing from my stitches. I also put this bassinet on the couch so i can keep a closer eye. Now, When baby falls asleep in there, i just put the whole bassinet in the crib without having to wake em up. When it is folded, i put a blanket, diaper, wipes and spare clothes in there if you are bringing baby to stay the night with family. It is very sturdy plastic for the frame. Easy to fold and the velcro is super secure. The only thing i would improve upon is the pad. It tends to curl up on the ends. We took our 4 month old to Europe and stayed in lots of hotels. This bassinet was perfect!! For hotels that provided cribs, I placed it in the crib to provide familiarity and for hotels that didn’t, it was small enough to fit in bed with us. Wife: I needed a compact travel bed for the little one that I could pack into my suitcase and check at the airport, but I wasn’t originally sold on the hard sides that this bed had. I was worried that it would just make it too bulky, but I bought it anyway because it was the only compact option that was large/long enough to fit le bèbè. Well, I’m now glad I bought it! We haven’t actually gone on our trip yet, but setting this up was pretty simple, and the empty cavity that the bed creates once folded is just the right amount of room to place all her clothes and diapers in, which means it’s not going to take any space away from other essentials needing to be packed. My only complaint is that the sounds programmed into the little noise machine are pretty lame. They should’ve stuck to something simple, like white noise, as the heartbeat and lullaby are more distracting than anything. If you’re torn between getting the regular version and the Harmony version, just get the cheaper regular version and buy a Baby Shusher separately. That would probably be a better combo! UPDATE: this worked relatively well for our trip! Would rate 4/5 stars. My only complaint [other than the cheap sound machine that I mentioned earlier] is that the mattress pad was a bit noisy whenever Baby would shift. It woke her up sometimes, which was not ideal, but it served its overall purpose of giving her a safe space to sleep. Would love to see an updated version in the future where they’ve switched out the waterproof layer for a noiseless one, like the mattress protectors made for regular sized crib mattresses. ... show more

This bassinet creates a safe space for my baby right next to me in bed. It helps him sleep longer (and me too!) because he can sense I'm right there. It keeps him from rolling off or getting smothered in blankets. I love it! The only downfall is the sound machine only stays on for 5 min at a time. You need to keep pushing the button to turn it back on. So annoying it's basically useless to me. I have it 4 stars because of the ridiculous little machine. But it does have the heartbeat sound & I now know it really helps my boy, so I'm having to buy another, better sound machine with a heartbeat sound that will stay on. ... show more

I love this! My baby sleeps so well in swaddled or not. He is right next to me on the bed so makes feeding, changing, taking care of, or being able to touch him when he's fussy. He has a ton of energy and is a strong baby and this withstands his kicks. It has never flipped over or collapsed. It has always held up. I take it with us when we go to other parts of the house too. Easy to fold up, light weight and durable. Super easy to clean the removable sleep pad cover and the bassinet cover. My baby will sit up in it, hold the edge to use as support. Been using it since coming home from the hospital. He's four months. He actually prefers this bassinet to his actual bassinet. We think he prefers it because it's smaller area so he feels safer and less alone in it and because he is right next to me. As he is falling asleep he reaches out to hold on and touch me. Our bond is better and stronger by using this bassinet. He loves the sound machine that comes with it. Only thing about the sound machine is that I wish it played for longer. This co-sleeper is not ready to use. The base is not straight and sturdy. You will have to reinforce the base with hard wood, thick card board, plastic etc as it converges in the centre and the bed itself won’t remain flat. The bed itself is super thin and you will need to top it off with another small mattress in the same size. What we do like about this is the fact that we can co-sleep out little one without any worry of putting your hands or legs over.
