This is perfect for a very young child, even one who is just starting to stand because they can push this and stand by leaning/pulling off of it. This item is so low to the ground that their little legs will touch the floor or soon will be able to. Not only is the price good for what you’re getting, the quality is very good. It’s not flimsy thin plastic like others on the market. It’s a robust toy for the price. Also, granddaughter loves it, though not yet walking on her own, has been fascinated with this car and loves to play with it. Additionally, because it’s low to the ground, and the wheels are not very exposed with space where they can get their hands or feet caught, it’s safer for their little feet and toes. On the backside, it doesn’t have a gap where they can get their feet caught. Again, because it’s so low to the ground it offers this as a great safety feature by how it’s designed. So glad I purchased this one over the others I was contemplating. For the age that I was buying it for, a child under one years old, this was the best purchase.
