Update: After leaving my first review and asking BBelk to reach out, they reached out and provided me a new case at no additional cost. I recommend purchasing this not only because the product works but they have great customer service. My only feedback is that they should put contact information on their packaging or on their profile here on Amazon. Their packaging states to email them if you have issue but they don't provide an email. My case came scratched and with 1 smudge despite it being in plastic when I received it. I did not use anything sharp to unwrap it and did not touch it with my fingers. The package it came in said to email B Belk if there are any issues but they don't provide an email. B Belk please contact me as I would like a replacement. I am happy to revise my review rating when done. ... show more

I have a lot of travel to do and I am storing my computer in the laptop pocket of a large backpack with lots of heavy gear in it. I was worried about the stability of the computer so I ordered this cover and as soon as I popped it on, I was blown away with how sturdy it felt. I no longer worried about the screen being under too much stress with the heavy objects. It does add to the thickness and weight of the computer but the sheer strength is adds not to mentions the scratch protection, its worth it. The keypad cover is nice, it feels velvety and sticks to the board well. installation is a breeze. The only thing is you will not be able to see the light the keyboard emits, make it difficult for tying in the dark. But it just comes right off so you could just pull it off and put it right back on. Definitely worth the purchase for me. ... show more

I've had this case for a few months now, and the bottom part came loose about two months in, and I just plugged it right back on to fix it. But little did I know that it wasn't like me pushing it off, it just didn't fit anymore. I am still satisfied with the part that covers the back of my screen, but under my macbook, it just stays off now. I really wanted to get a case for my MacBook because it shows finger prints pretty bad especially on the front. I ordered this case hoping that it would be able to cover them and the finger prints wouldn't be visible and new ones wouldn't form. When I opened the package, there was already scuffs on the case and as I tried to wipe them away, all the streaks from my cloth were showing as well. As I messed around with it more, I noticed just how badly it showed finger prints. This material isn't good for looking nice and neat which is why I had bought it.
