I was hesitant to buy these because I have always only used the Cricut brand mats for my Cricut machine that I have had for several years. But after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. These work just as good. I haven't used them on many different materials yet, but it held the cardstock very well, but didn't shred and leave remnants on the mat due to it being too sticky, the vinyl stayed in place, as did the iron on material. I've only had these mats long enough for a few cuts of each of those materials, but if it holds up without losing the tackiness to quickly, I'll continue to buy this brand. ... show more

I made a big mistake and used a hair dryer on my Cricut mats after washing them! It warped them! Ugh! I decided to try this brand out to save money. First thing I noticed is the smell that these mats have. It's definitely a chemical smell. It only smelled when removing the protection sheet from the mat, after this the mat didn't smell. I did a huge paper project. I was disappointed how fast the mat lost stickiness. I cleaned the mat with a scraper often. After 1 day of heavy use, I now have to clean these mats. The point was to get these mats so I didn't have to clean them frequently, but now I have to after 1 day of use. Just don't have high hopes that these are comparable to the Cricut brand, they are not, however, they are a decent mat for the price and when you need something fast to use and not a huge paper project. ... show more

It doesn't get any better than these cutting mats! It made everything so much easier and efficient. They're perfectly the right thickness, they're durable and sturdy, the perfect size for 12x12 vinyl cuts and smaller. The tackiness is perfect and I didn't experience any issues like I have with other cutting mats where they were way too sticky and sometimes the paper that pills off the back of the vinyls would tear off rather than come off with ease like they do with this cutting board. They ship you three in order which is exactly how many I needed to do the job efficiently! This makes things so much easier for me because I don't have to stop several times throughout the day to correct issues from my cutting mat! ... show more

FYI the newer cricut cutters measure the full mat, so some off brand mats won't register even though they are big enough. (MY old cricut was fine with any 12×12 mat, my newer one is really picky!)
