My computer is a decade old and I'm trying to keep it going for another year. I had a case/cover on it before, but that one was cracked and needed to be replaced. I purchased this for the 13 inch Macbook Air (2016) and it fit perfectly. No complaints, would buy again. FYI: I got the light blue. I thought it was sort of periwinkle color based on the image. It's actually more gray than blue, but when the apple logo lights up, the lit portion looks fully lavender. I like it! I think it's chic and professional without being over the top colorful. But if your heart is set on the specific color in the photo you might not like the shade that actually shows up.

Everything seems really protective. The screen protector was simple to put on although it’s nearly impossible to apply it without dust or some kind of hair getting on it. The keyboard protector is also a little dense so it’s just a little bit harder to type on. Otherwise everything is good

I recently got a shell case like this for my newer MacBook Pro. I like having the added durability without having to put the computer in an actual case so I went ahead and got this case for my old mid-2012 MacBook Air. Even though it has survived for 10 years without having a case on it I figured I'd add the case to make it a little more rugged since I plan to keep it around as a test computer / backup system. The shell for the top and bottom snaps on very easily and seems like it will stay in place. It has the cutouts in all the right places so all the ports are still accessible. The bottom piece has large feet that really help keep your computer in place on a desk or table. I mainly bought this for the two shell pieces, but it does come with a stick-on screen protector, a cleaning cloth, and a keyboard overlay. The screen protector is too small for my 13" MacBook Air (see photo). I didn't plan to use it anyways but I definitely won't use it now since it would create an obvious line both above and to the side of the screen protector since it doesn't quite make it to the edges of the screen. The keyboard cover is designed just a tad incorrectly so it will fit over the keys on one side but little by little gets slightly offset until it is not able to sit over the key completely on the other side of the keyboard (see photo). It is still usable but likely won't stay in place as well as it would if it was an exact fit. The cover is a flexible plastic material that is smoother and a little more rigid than the typical membrane keyboard covers that are more flexible. So, buy this for the two plastic cover pieces, not for the screen protector... and know that they keyboard cover is a little off but still works okay.
