The assembly was a nightmare. Either the holes didn't line up with hardware or needed to be re drilled to accept the appropriate screw. The included screw driver was tiny and kept stripping screw heads. I may as well have build it myself from scratch.

This is a great storage shelf or bookcase. I use it as a bookcase in my sons room and there’s also a bottom part where I put some of his toys. It has really helped me organize and be able to keep his room clean. I love that it was designed as an open display bookcase so my son can easily see all of his books. This can hold up to 300 books!!!

We use this in our playroom as an alternative to a traditional wooden bookshelf. My kids are rough on wooden furniture and they always seem to get broken. I like this style for housing books because it allows you to see the front on the book and not just the spine of the book which a child is more likely to pick up a book and read it this way

This was easy to assemble, it’s not the sturdiest bookshelf around, but for holding my kids books it’ll do a great job. I really like the way it looks and that it seems to hold quite a bit without taking up too much space.

This went together fast. Faster with two people, as it's easier to line up both sides with the end pieces, but it can be done with one person. It just takes a little longer. Once up, it feels pretty sturdy. The shelves are shallow, so this is made for taller, thinner books to be stood up. The bottoms of the shelves are slatted and the fronts of each shelf are pretty low, so this isn't great for magazines unless they're pretty darn thick. I'm using this for canvases. It's good storage and I can fit a lot on. The lower shelves hold baskets and trays of my art supplies. While this is very good for a kid's room and for a library style room, it works really well for me as an art station. The price is fair. The metal is solid and the stand is plenty sturdy. It comes with wimpy stickers and zip ties for wall anchors, so if you intend to really load this up, you'll want to figure out a better solution to anchor this to a wall, especially in a kid's room, so that it doesn't get pulled over. Everything is smooth on it. No rough spots or burrs or point edges. I really like the simple, clean look and the versatility of it. It's a great stand.

OK, their father helped, but my small children were thrilled to help him assemble this amazing store-quality bookshelf! They made a project out of it and had a lot of fun. By the time they were able to set it up, it felt sturdy, and they immediately ran for their books to arrange them. What I love most about this shelf is the fact that it not only keeps books off the floor, but it creates an option for decorating and expressing interests and tastes. My daughters are very serious about the books they love and make sure their current favorites are facing outward so they can see them all the time. This isn't an option you would get with a traditional bookshelf. The white color matches the decor in their room. We really couldn't be happier with this product.
