I read a review from one collector who said smaller 12.5" frames make the album covers look simply like a print or a poster because the edges were hidden underneath the frame ... he was spot on. I ordered this 13"x13" frame plus another 12.5", and I compared the two. (I didn't unpack them, but placed the album on top to see how it fit within the frame.) This 13"x13" frame leaves a very slight margin around the album on all four sides... maybe 1/4", but enough to have the edge of the album visible with a nice margin around it. As a background, I used the paper photo that was included with the frame, but turned the white side outward. Or if you are creative, you could insert any color background. I was leery that the silver detail would be too shiny, but it really looks great and compliments the albums so nicely. Now that I have found "the" frame, I will purchase more of these to complete the collection. I had a question for the seller, and they responded immediately by email, so A+ on the customer service.

This frame is exactly what I was looking for - a basic, black frame, with a bonus silver highlight ("Bonus" as in, "makes it look fancier for the same price as a plain black frame," not "I was surprised" - you can clearly tell from the product description and pictures that the frame is black with silver.). As others have mentioned, it doesn't come with any instructions, so I was slightly confused by the style of metal clasps used to hold the frame in place, until I looked at the picture on the product page and realized that they swivel rather than bend (like the cheap frames I'm used to). Regarding the protective film on the acrylic; I don't know if they recently changed their packaging, by my film had a bold watermark across the film (on both sides) reminding and ensuring the user to remove the protective film, which I believe is the cause of the "milkiness" mentioned in the 1-star review. After removing the film, the acrylic was as clear as expected.

Not the most expensive material, but this is a good frame for the price and I personally prefer the plastic over the glass! Great for bathrooms. The more expensive frames I tried hanging in there, let moister in and ruined the picture. This is the best one I’ve hung in my bathroom!

Was perfect for one of my diamond painting and really nice with the silver to hang in my living room. I am ordered a 11x14 also to hang another one. Frames are so expensive but this was a great price for the quality frame I got.

I needed an off size frame for a painting I did ages ago. When I found this, I figured why not give it a try and I am so glad I did. The painting fit perfectly and is ready for hanging. My only caveat is you may not want to use the plexiglass as it’s shiny and seems to detract a bit. Haven’t made up my mind yet. It’s inexpensive, but sturdy and well made.well worth it. The packaging it came in was excellent. Not a mark on the frame at all. Recommended

I absolutely LOVE this frame!!! I have a Jeff Bridges signature model Breedlove that came with an 11"x17" photo of Jeff with a guitar similar to mine and I needed a frame for it so it wouldn't get damaged or lost and this frame is perfect. I couldn't really tell in the picture on amazon whether or not the metal trim would look good with this picture but it looks great!!! My only issue is that I don't have much wall space to hang it so I have him leaned against the wall on some storage bins next to my desk.

I’d gotten a souvenir movie poster when my brother and I went to a movie premiere and I wanted a frame to save it and post on my wall. I found this frame and it was the right size so thought I’d try it. I was surprised at how very nice it is! It is a good quality and was easy to get the poster in the frame. This is well worth the price.
