I got this for my ten year old son as he loves axolotls and couldn't be happier. It looks exactly as pictured, except I think it even looks better in person. There's some really nice detailing on this. Construction wise, it's great. No loose threads, no strange hems or sewing. No strange defects or parts that were sewed on at a weird angle. Everything is sound. The zipper was what worried me the most, but there is no issue there at all. It's easy to pull up and down and there's no catching at all. The fit is really roomy and spacious and he kept remarking on how "cozy" it felt. What's nice about this is that it's not overly thick. It's not by any means thin and cheap, it's just not heavy. It strikes a nice balance. My kid tends to sweat fairly easily, plus, living in Florida, we don't exactly get much call for heavy clothing. This onesie is really cute. It's warm, comfortable, and fits well. I sized up just so I knew I would have even more room but honestly I could've gotten my normal size. The crotch is lower then normal pants but it adds to the comfort. Overall good quality I have no complaints.

Overall, this is a very cute axolotl onesie. The material is a bit thin but is not see through. The eyes are embroidered and look sweet. The gills are well done and stand up mostly on their own from stuffing, but I can't help but wish that there was some type of malleable piping inside to get them to stand up better.
