I am not required to wear my life jacket while paddling, but I am required to have one in my possession. Rectangular, orange, and cheap has been my plan for 2 years. Now I have something I will wear. This is a clone of a very popular Amazon seller with similar design and features for about 25% less in price. I am pleased with my purchase. Fit, finish, and stitching are good. I find mine very comfortable and it has a great deal of adjustability. I am 5'8", 230 lbs, and muscular and the XL fits me well with room for expansion. The back floatation pad sits high enough that it doesn't interfere with my Aquaglide frame kayak seat.

Apr 20 2023 I heaven’t test yet I have to wait for warms days so I can’t tell yet if is work well I wear to test the size I’m XL and this is M L fit well on me specially bc I have big breast and I have no problem at all, more late in the summer I will update more info about the material does not feel very strong but let as I say I will update more info

I usually just give 5 stars . But as a avid water man . I’m used to very good quality, professional gear . This wound be good for a person who has to just put something on .. to please the coast guard ( maybe) if you are a paddle boarder.maybe. But for a good flotation device on a life boat or anything that your would need to stay alive day in the Gulf Stream if you went over board . I wound by no means wavy to have this if I had to wait to be rescued for longer then 15-20 minutes. I wound not put my kids or anyone that was in any danger in that . For the price ( I wound say it wound be fine on a lake . Or something to put on if you really did not need any flotation device. I had no problem returning it . 5 stars to amazon prime . I should’ve known better at this price it’s just a light vest to make it look like you have something on to please a must have life jacket for a tourist attraction.. to please the business owners, or give you a bit of confidence say on a calm kayak tour of something. I was hoping to get a little better one , I would say if your not using it for anything serious then I believe it wound give you lots of mobility. So I will move the stars 2-3 it just wasn’t what I needed . Thinking more it’s just to light for a life jacket, i I have seat cushions that have handles that have more floatation in a pinch , wavted a real life vest better then a ugly orange diaper bag ones that are more to please the Coast Guard . At least they are going to see you and will keep your head above the Water ..

I like the way the vest fits me, and it's adjustability. Doesn't ride up while paddling. Excellent shoulder freedom. Light weight breathable. Easy to put on.

Fits good. However there is NO indication that this vest is Coast Guard approved. Nothing on the label, Amazon description or the Awesafe website itself. The three vests that we bought were boxed up and sent back. Ordered other approved vests instead.
