I like avoderm. I think it has a good ingredients list and often isn't as expensive as some foods. I got my dog the trout. She didn't want to eat it when I was first switching her, but she eats it fine now. It doesn't aggravate her food allergies like a lot of foods do, which is why I feed her seafood foods. The only complaint I have is that she is pooping more often, and the poops are massive. They are fairly firm and healthy, but I feel like my dog is putting out horse poops. I think this food has a high fiber content. I will continue feeding it for now, because I can get a great deal on it here on Amazon. ... show more

I just saw on Amazon that I have ordered 75 bags of this food for my dog over the years! The great thing about it is that it completely cured his skin rashes - allergic reactions to other foods. Does he LOVE it? No. But he doesn’t hate it and it keeps him from itching so I’m a satisfied customer.

We have tried so many different dog diets that I cannot mention them all, starting with every kind of raw there is…nothing cleared up our mastiffs skin allergies, itching and significant hair loss patches all over her body. We scaled way back to just supplements and this blend of whitefish and the duck avoderm and after 4 and half weeks she has all of her fur back and no longer itching the way she was. It has been a long haul and I am happy to have found this food for her. I have found that the Neo mastiff is a much more sensitive breed of dog when it comes to gastrointestinal, skin and allergies. Just great my dog doesn't like it and there's a no return policy. I was planning to try a different flavor for her in this brand but not anymore. I'll find a different brand that cares more.

We are so happy with AvoDerm! We had been battling allergies which have plagued our 4 year old yellow lab mix for 2 years. Lily had red itchy ears and started breaking out at her rear abdomen area. We were as miserable as she was. We tried numerous grain free dog food assuming that was her problem (including top brands from our vet). Who would have thought trout and peas were the solution? My malamute/vizsla girl is sensitive to everything! We have tried so many foods i cannot count.. I love the fact that the rotational menu is a safe switch when she's needing a new taste. Her fur and skin have been very much improved on Avoderm...My husky loves it, too.

Great dog food! Used to be able to purchase it at any pet food store but they stop carrying it. Great for dogs with skin problems like mine. Removes my dog's flakes after a couple of serving & easily digestible for my other dog.

Best dog food ever. My dog is allergic to both grains and poultry (as is common in almost all dogs in varying degrees) and this food has given him a beautiful coat and kept him in perfect shape and health. Thanks Avoderm, you drastically improved the quality of my dogs life!
