Strengthening polymers in the relaxer creme penetrate hair fibers, leaving hair with significantly more tensile strength and elasticity after relaxing compared with conventional relaxers. Important: For best results, use FiberGuard Creme Relaxer (Step 2) as part of FiberGuard Conditioning Relaxer System. Other system components include FiberGuard Preserve Strengthening Serum (Step 1), FiberGuard Sustenance Fortifying Treatment (Step 3) and FiberGuard Normalizing Shampoo (Step 4).

I have the product 3 stars because although it was wrapped well it still seeped out. I guess the tossing and bumping made that happen. I suggest maybe dealing the cap on so it can't spoil out. Used in conjunction with the whole Fiberguard relaxer system (which I recommend for optimal results). Great relaxer. I have thick, coarse hair and was concerned that mild would not relax my hair properly. I was wrong. Followed recommended processing times and worked quickly. These products definitely have a shelf life...unfortunately. Avalon is truly a boutique and quality brand. I think I need to keep my kitchen shop beauty shop alone and stick to having a professional do his or her job.
