This was a very good product. Since they discontinued it last year and the price skyrocketed, I've been trying to find another face wash that doesn't make my skin burning and red and dry. None of the other Aveeno products have worked, nor the supposedly 'sensitive' washes from other big brands. Finally tried Vanicream's facial cleanser and it's the one - it actually smells a lot like this Aveeno (neither have fragrance added), and it works identically to it for my skin. Also it's a regular pump so you don't have to deal with the pump breaking like the Aveeno one always did. I'll be sticking with Vanicream. ... show more

so gentle my roacea is so so much better since using this soap and I love the foam if your camping or out of town only need little of water to get it off

I’ve always had sensitive skin and after severe burns, allergies, melanoma, and autoimmune issues along with extremely early menopause 15 years ago I’ve had to be very particular with skin care. My daughter and husband both get irritated skin from any type of harsh face wash, my husband’s dry’s out easily especially due to shaving and my daughter had deep tissue cystic acne because of hormone imbalance. I’ve bought many super expensive facial products even though our dermatologist. My daughter knew over drying cleansers would counteract some of the acne present but, would only cause more issues because of the way your skin sends more oil to compensate for dry skin. This is the only otc skin care brand that has worked well for all of us. Save your money on super expensive brands out there at least for this face wash. I still maintain using other products for my skin care regimen but, this is a great product. The only thing I personally am careful with is not using it around my eyes as it does irritate them if I happen to of wore makeup so I use a special wash to remove eye makeup. I have a very angry rosacea and usually nothing calms it down and nobody knows what works on it. I have to wash my face to control the oiliness but my rosacea was against that as well! This product is so gentle and so refreshing my rosacea doesn’t even aware what’s been washing my face and I love everything about it. BUT the pump stopped working after like 10-15 pumps later and it was a hassle. So I transferred the soap to another pumping bottle an I’m glad I did.
