  • Excellent Value! Excellent Price!
Model: 5-Channel
I am having a lot of fun with this tiny little 4-channel mixer. I was in radio and TV for many years and have used many different types of fancy and expensive equipment, but I'm retired now and enjoying the simple things in life, that includes using this simple and easy to use mixer. Without getting in to all the technical details, this is an ideal product for beginners or old timers like myself who just want to have fun but enjoy a decent amount of dials, buttons, and gizmos. LOL. What's also nice is it won't set you back by much either. I spent less than $45.00 USD for this baby. Not bad huh?...and you'll have lots of fun for next to nothing. ... show more

  • Pretty good mixer, but not perfect
Model: 5-Channel
Front USB functionality: Despite my efforts, I couldn’t get the USB reader to work. I formatted fat32, exFAT, and NTFS without success reading tracks or recording. I tried 2GB 4GB and 32GB drives and am convinced it won’t function (at least on my unit). Audio interface for PC: The PC connection works well and the device will output and record audio to my Windows 10 laptop. This is a decent alternative to a dedicated sound interface as this supports phantom power for condenser microphones and preamps but the headphone output should only be used for monitoring levels (a big difference from an interface that has a high-quality headphone out). Sound Quality: I found the audio from this device is lacking mids, I can almost get the output audio to match the input by increasing treble and reducing bass from 0 but there is also a quality drop in the audio. If I had to describe it, I would say it sounds like the difference between a 320kbps mp3 recording and a 128kbps one. That’s not to say it sounds bad, it’s perfectly usable for live performances, demos, and streaming but not for professional recording. I will say that the audio is very clear on all channels, and I have not experienced any electromagnetic interference (buzzes pop clicks) while using the mixer. I was most impressed by the clean headphone output with its low noise floor compared to some “nicer” equipment I own. Build quality: The interface is made of plastic and has 2 large stickers for the print. The interface is not heavy by any means, but the plastic housing isn’t going to break anytime soon. The knobs feel like any other mixer would, and the potentiometers are smooth, there are no scratches when adjusting them. The power cable is micro-usb, which although outdated, works. Build quality is decent, nothing to write home about but it’s not offensive either. Bluetooth: Bluetooth worked well, with stereo channels and no noise from the Bluetooth receiver. I like the way it was implemented. To me, Bluetooth is more important than the USB reading functionality. Conclusion: As a Mixer, it works as it should. The microphone channels are mono and cannot be panned, so that’s the big limiting factor in this mixer for my use but it is still a good starting point. The USB memory functionality didn’t work for me but that wasn’t a huge selling point for this in my opinion. For budding creators, this is a good starting point which will allow for experimentation at a good price. ... show more

  • Very solid mixer for the price.
Model: 5-Channel
I bought this along with another mixer that was just a bit more expensive so I could have multiple instruments running through my pedalboard for quiet living room jams. This unit was the winner between the two as it did exactly what I was going for without any unwanted buzzing or humming. It's a really simple little mixer but it's intuitive to use and seems to be sturdily built overall. Recommended for hobbyist's or musicians on a budget. ... show more

  • A great mixer with some good unique features. Real 48v!
Model: 5-Channel
There's nothing spectacular about this devices as far as format and features. It does what all small format mixers can do. Bluetooth is included which makes it a great karaoke mixer as well. Others can't do MP3 an this one can. The MP3 recorder does work. But the thing is that you need to add an mp3 file into you blank USB stick in order for the device to recognize it. One you add that file, it'll give you the options as described in the manual. I've own several compact mixers in the past including entry level ones like this. Most of them don't provide 48v phantom power but other lower accepted standard voltages. But some devices specifically operate better on 48v than lower voltages. Some can only run on 48v. I've ran into this problem with other mixers. I'm actually quite thrilled that this can do 48v. The sound quality is pretty good. I don't think it'll do if you're recording anything significant, but if you're just recording things that will be played back through the mixer or used online it's more than adequate. For speech it's more than adequate. For music it might be fine. Unless you get some impressive number of view/plays for your music online, the quality is definitely good enough. For those <1000 listeners that most people get, the price for this makes sense. Most people are likely listening via PC speakers, phone speakers or bluetooth earbuds anyhow. You can always spend the money and upgrade when you make it big on whatever platform you're on. ... show more

  • Well constructed and easy to use
Model: 5-Channel
I've worked with a lot of audio interfaces and mixers, and this is definitely one of the more versatile ones. I like how everything is clearly labeled and easy to use or adjust. Getting everything exactly to center/0 will never be perfect on this, but it does its job. One thing I find a little off-putting is that the output cables are on the top and not the back, but that's just a personal preference. ... show more
