Great water bottle, keeps liquids cold for hours. Straw was a bit hard to remove from the bottle on first try. Love that the handle is easy to close and open, haven’t dropped it while holding it from just the extended handle. And it definitely looks and feels luxe, but for the price you would think that it would hold up a bit better before you start getting scratches. I just got the bottle less than a day ago, haven’t dropped it or tossed it around, and there are already scratches. There are deep scratches that have removed paint color and micro scratches that haven’t fully penetrated to the metal under the paint but have changed the surface texture. I’ve had bottles half or even less than half the price stay scratch-free for longer. Definitely disappointed, would not buy again or recommend, and probably can’t return. ... show more

I use this bottle daily to take to work. Easy to use a clean. Best bottle I have had. My only small dislike is the carry handle. It is not too sturdy, but I've never had it fall from using it.

Love this water bottle. Love the built in straw as well. Fairly easy to clean. However, only downside is the water bottle is a but heavy. But, it’s really sturdy, so I don’t mind. Just gets a bit heavy when hiking. Fits in cup holders in my car and hasn’t leaked at all. Overall, really great! Wish the silver metal pop out thing was black metal so the bottle was all black and it pops out often, but no biggy. ... show more

I have used many types of double walled steel drinking vessels and have always longed for one that had it all. I really like drinking from the small mouth containers but found filling with ice and water was somewhat challenging. I liked the ecco vessel because ice and water filling was easy but to drink fast you needed to put in the strainer and that restricted the water flow and made it more things to have to do. I have used every hydro flask size and lid configuration available. I like the straw drinking units for the ease of drinking and the speed but not in favor of having the straw exposed all the time and or having to use my hand to lift the straw to drink and where has my hand been. So now for the perfect solution. I have the large 32oz Avana that is the best of all. All you need to do is remove the top cap and you can fill with some ice and water without removing the sipper portion with the straw attached. Stays cold just like all the others. I want to drink more water but never seem to make it happen until this came along. Drinking from this straw unit not only feels good and more natural its very efficient because instead of a little hole to allow air in to fill the void from sipping there is a large opening so no effort at all to drink and no noise from air being sucked in through a tiny hole. I have filled and emptied this water jug 3 times a day for a week and love every minute of it. I now drink the water I know i should and its not a challenge but a pleasure. I haven't written a review for years and thats because nothing has moved me and changed me for the better more than this water bottle, a futile search for the perfect, realized FINALLY. ... show more

So far I really enjoy this water bottle. I was skeptical as my friend explained it to me but i decided to give it a shot. The straw design is very clever and allows to both sip from the straw or drink normally like a glass or other cup. The ice retention is pretty good when filled all the way up, and I prefer this bottle to other Avana options because it is easier to put the ice in. My only issue is occasionally the inner ring for the straw design will detach when I am trying to take off the lid. It's a hard balance to make sure the lid is tight enough not to leak, but not too tight you won't be able to open it without unscrewing the piece for the straw. ... show more

Works great except when you take off the lid, it will leak due to water getting on the inside of the lid. It won't leak if the lid is on though, so thats great. I received mine with a dent in it but i didn't mind that. It keeps your drink cold for a long time and the straw function makes it so easy to drink, helping me keep hydrated! ... show more
