Packaging was great. What I liked about this product is how well thought out everything was. Every piece was numbered or labeled, which made things easier. And the instructions was very easy to follow. I completed this in about an hour or less. You want to make sure you take your time, and do not overtighten anything. I recently upgraded my old stereo setup, which meant I needed a proper place to put the new gear and my record collection. I settled on this black, four-tier AV stand, and I'm giving it five stars because for the price I paid, the finished product looks much more substantial than I expected, and it handles everything I threw at it. What I like most is the stability and the layout. The bottom shelf is just the right height for my 12-inch vinyl, keeping the records organized and easy to flip through. The upper tiers handle the receiver, the turntable, and the old CD player I still keep around. It feels solid, not rickety, which is crucial when you have hundreds of dollars of electronics sitting on top. My wife was skeptical about the LED lights, but they actually look pretty classy when dimmed down, giving the corner a nice accent glow without being tacky. It cleaned up a messy corner of my office perfectly. The main dislike, and why it took me longer than it should have, was the assembly process. The instructions could have been clearer. I'm 60, and putting together furniture is not my favorite way to spend an afternoon. A couple of the cam locks were a little tricky to tighten properly, and I had to re-read a few diagrams to make sure I wasn't putting something backward. Also, the finish is just that particleboard laminate, so I had to be careful not to scratch it during the build. Still, once it was built, it felt sturdy, and it looks like it cost twice as much. For the money, this was a fantastic value and a necessary step to stop cluttering up my desk with gear. ... show more

I’m really impressed with this media stand,it is exactly what I needed to upgrade my setup. The metal frame and wood shelves feel sturdy and hold all my gear without any wobble. It is just the right size to fit my speakers, and gaming consoles while keeping everything neat and organized. The open design helps with airflow, so nothing overheats. I love the built-in power strip and USB ports,they make plugging in devices so much easier. The LED lights are a cool touch and easy to adjust depending on the vibe I want. The cable hooks and management system keep things clean, which I really appreciate.Even though it is solid, the wheels make it easy to move around. The packaging was excellent, and I really appreciated how organized everything was. Each part was clearly labeled, which made assembly much smoother. We use this as a stand for our printer next to my boyfriend's desk. I built this on my own (#womeninstem!) and it was really easy to follow the instructions. This is super sturdy, doesn't rock back and forth, and is a perfect balance of surface area and height to hold multiple things (our printer is on the top shelf, while we have paper storage and other office supplies in the shelves below.
