I own a 2008 Volvo C70 with factory D2S HID bulbs. This replacement LED bulb was a simple swap out. The only thing I had to redo was how to secure the existing ballast since it had been held in place on the HID bulb. This new setup has a plug tied to the new LED that you use to attach the ballast. Simple, but you are left with the ballast hanging in mid air. I just tucked it into the existing wiring and hope it doesn't come loose. But, the end result is amazing! The lights are much brighter now, and I can see much further out in front of the car while driving. Now, it's a wait and see how long the bulbs will last. Tick Tock!

Overall, this is a very good product, which is why I got five stars. It was easy to install, and the light shined very bright brightly. The only drawback I would say is on the G 37 it does not fully secure back in due to the fan and the back of the LED light, but I would say that easily isn’t negated by the fact that it shines way brighter than the OEM lights and comes with a fan to keep the LED cool I just went on a 30 minute drive after installing and the light was perfectly fine. I would recommend if you’re looking for a new LED bulb.

They work perfectly in my 2017 chevy, silverado, and it was a huge upgrade. Way brighter light than HID bulbs.

I'm scratching my head, wondering why these things are priced at $100 when bulbs by the same company can be found for less than half that amount, and bulbs from other companies are almost universally half that price or less. The specs listed here don't seem to put them in a different class from other bulbs. But they do work, and you'll feel like you're driving a new car at night if you've replaced the old-fashioned yellow headlamps that most cars had until the past few years. They are just plug and play, but maybe I was lucky in that the plugs fit my car? I'm not sure how standard these things are. They are super-bright, and the 6500K color seems to cut through the darkness. I highly recommend upgrading from OEN bulbs, but I'm just not sure you need to spend $100 to do so, so I knock off two stars, but only for the higher price.

These aluminum alloy 9005/HB3 automotive LED bulbs are noticeably much brighter than standard halogen bulbs. They are fan cooled, and have a copper mounting plate and dual heat pipe cooling system that utilizes the entire metal housing as a heat sink. They are very high quality and come in a nice retail box with detailed installation instructions. Plus, they are pretty easy to install, fit great, are IP68 waterproof rated and have an expected lifespan of 60,000 hours. Additionally, they include sealed ballasts with special electronic circuitry that makes these LED bulbs compatible with most vehicle CANBUS systems and computers with no flickering or errors. They are also a good value for the money, especially when they are on sale!
