Well, once again I hit the wrong button and ordered a 3K+ Honda instead of the 1200 dollar unit. I tried to cancel the order but the third party seller , after reading the return policy, would take back anything except generators. So, that being said, upon arrival I was very happy that I ordered it! It’s a freaking beast and is top notch quality. So I’m very pleased with its performance. The dimensions shown are not correct. It lists its depth as 22.5". I spent a lot of money on a storage shed with a 24" depth interior dimension. It doesn't fit unless I take the handle off. I love the generator, I'm just unhappy they didn't give the actual dimensions. Now, I have either buy another shed or remove the handle off the generator cart. ... show more

We bought ours after hurricane Charlie here in Florida. Since then it has never failed us ever! We also used it to power a camper trailer every weekend when we raced harescrambles. Now after running my house after hurricane Ian, then my dad's house when his Power Mate Sam's generator finally failed when the voltage regulator failed. The Honda EM series are industrial quality. It is heavy, and yes pricey. But if you want something you can count on to keep your family comfortable in extremely adverse conditions look no further. Compare the windings and material the generator is made from. Run ethanol free fuel and Stabil when you store it and it'll start first pull everytime. Mine has over 3,000 hours on it. You really do get what you pay for. This is a generator you can pass down to your kids. Only thing I would ever change is a wheel kit for soft terrain. But even after a hurricane soaked years it's still manageable. I don't write reviews often, but given my experience with this generator it's more of a years of service review from a mechanic. ... show more

I really don't like to write bad reviews, but in this case, I have to. I open up the box and started putting the parts together, after I finished assembling the parts I gave the unit a quick visual inspection. I notice that the spark plug wire was just hanging to my surprise the plastic housing on the spark plug is broken in two. I don't to place blame anywhere, but when I contacted Jacks Small Engines they told me I have to contact Honda so, I contacted Honda and they told me to contact Jacks Small Engines. But the fact of the of the matter is that I have a new generator with no spark plug which is useless. Now I'm not putting down Honda, I do like the Honda products as matter of I own a Honda automobile, and it has given a good service. But I'm not paying over $3,000.00 for something that doesn't work. I don't Know how it happened All I know, is that it is BROKE!!!!!!! ... show more
