I've never used these before, nor changed a tire out. These worked great once I figured out how to use them, but they initially don't make much sense unless you know what you're working with. Also, they don't include instructions. It took me a little bit to figure them out, but once I did, these were super simple to use and helped greatly. These, however, made me realize I am probably never changing a tire again (just buy the rim and tire and stop being cheap).

Excellent. Not sure on the quality, I feel like I could bend them, but they get the job done. Make sure you clamp the opposite side of the tire you are working on.

Breaking the "bead" is extremely difficult. There were more that I couldn't break than the one's I could.

These extended-length spoons provide the added leverage needed to change the extremely stiff sidewall Dunlop tires that now come standard on Harley touring bikes (bead retention tires). I have a Rabaconda m/c tire changing machine, but cannot change the very stiff, thick Harley tires without the use of these extra long tire spoons. Using these, however, greatly simplifies tire changes (with no cussing, too)!

My tires were 40 years old. There were cracks in them when I bought the bike and replaced both front and back tires with these along with the Motion Pro BeadPro tool. I've only used the plastic rim protectors and the spoons and they were solid and did the job. I've not used the stems that came with them yet. The case is an added bonus to keep it all together.
