Okay, so they fit and illuminate in the socket for a 1987 Ford Truck. Here's teh catch, it could be my vehicle. Maybe something is dirty, but using turn signals. When parking lights are on...they don't seem to want to flash for turn. When parking lights are off, they work as front turn signal. No rapid flashing. In summary. They fit, they're bright running lights, but with mine, when you go to turn, while parking lights on, they do not flash. It doesn't affect the inside turn signal indicator, or back turn signal. It could be my front turn signal housing, but I'm thinking they're not enough watts, to flash for turn. I don't know, going to research. They do flash for turn when no parking/running lights are on...so during the day, they work fine for front turning. At nigh, they don't work for front turn....for now. going to investigate further.

Many of the comments in here are pretty accurate. Depending on your vehicle, socket depth my be a challenge - not impossible but potentially difficult. Its the way most modern LED bulbs are made, they have a shoulder that you don't have with a std. glass 1157. That being said, they do go in if you're patient. One person used needle nose which is a bad idea because the opening is angled and it will damage bulbs plus its no going to give you enough grip. If you small/medium channel locks open them up enough to hold the aluminum ribbing and the rest of the teeth will clear the LEDs. In terms of brightness, they are considerably brighter than old style incandescents. Functionally they work great and like most reviewers mine have only been in a month or so, so durability and longevity are... Well, only time will tell.

Purchased the 1157 led turn signal bulbs for my 2008 Honda Accord LX. Upon installation, I experienced hyper flash and notified seller. Seller responded timely and provide the load resistor for free and timely delivery. Installation was straightforward and works great and pretty bright (no more hyper flash). Thank you!

I bought these bulbs because they were advertised as non-polarity plug and play, which means that unlike regular polarized LED bulbs, (which only work for normal negative ground) they incorporate a bridge circuit so that they should work in either a negative or a positive ground system. Nope. When I stuck it in my car the bulbs did not light. When I reversed the polarity to test them (not in the car, but on the workbench), they lit up fine. The item description is WRONG. These bulbs are normal polarized LED bulbs. These bulbs do work fine, and will work for MOST cars, but NOT for many antique british roadsters or other positive ground applications.

Tried to install these in a 1966 Mustang. The bulb cups are pretty deep. It's almost impossible to get a grip on these bulbs to get them locked in. The issue is the very sharp casing. I could only get 1 finger or 2 finger tips on the bulb and it required a decent amount of pressure to click in. The top edge of the bulb tore me up to the point I needed a plan B. I tried everything I could think of to put on the sharp end and twist (shrewdriver handle, dowel, foot from a folding table). I finally just used a needle nose. That worked ok for 1 bulb but did create some damage. The other bulb slipped and got destroyed. I will be looking for a replacement that is less sharp.
