This tool kit has everything you need in it to get into a car you were locked out of. It's technically marketed as an automotive repair kit, and I suppose it is, but I am using it as a safety net for the next time I accidently get locked out of my vehicle. Services like pop a lock will charge you over $60 to come unlock your car. I like to keep this in my home so that in the event of a lock out I can ask a family member to retrieve it for me and get back in my car and save money. Even if I had to take an uber to get it, it would still be cheaper than using lock smith services! I've only done it a handful of times, but I'm prepared for the next time. I actually tested the kit out in the drive way a couple of times on two different cars so I would be prepared. I was successfully about to use the tools to get into both of my vehicles, a passenger car and an SUV. I found the kit was listed at an affordable price as well for the peace of mind it brings for the future.

This is advertised primarily as a trim removal kit, but it’s actually a hybrid set that doubles as a vehicle lockout kit. Honestly, the lockout tools are the exact reason I got this set in the first place, since I already had a bunch of trim removal tools lying around. The kit comes with a nice zippered carrier case, which is always a welcomed addition. It keeps all the random pieces organized and together so they aren't rolling around loose in the toolbox. The main lockout components—including the inflatable air bladder, the wedge, the standard long-reach grabber (not in my pictures), and a flexible wired long-reach tool—are specifically designed for getting yourself back into a car if you accidentally lock your keys inside. I decided to test them out on two vehicles just to see if they actually worked. It took a little bit of maneuvering and figuring out the right angles at first, but with a bit of patience, they absolutely did the trick. Having both the solid long-reach bar and that flexible wired tool gives you a couple of different ways to fish for the lock mechanism, which gives me a lot of peace of mind for an emergency situation. As for the actual trim removal tools, they are pretty standard compared to other sets on the market, but they get the job done. They are made of a decent, heavy-duty plastic, and I don't see them breaking or snapping anytime soon during normal use. I’m knocking off one star for the wired reach lock out tool for a weak tube that bent/broke really easily. All in all, a solid four-star purchase that is well worth the price.

I'm not sure why this set is refered to as a trim repair kit. Three of the items are for vehicle lockouts. The trim tools are the same cheap dime a dozen ones they practically give away and I can't say much about the inflatable bladder or the storage bag either. The only things you may be able to use would be the wedge and the adjustable length lock out rod. The other items are trash can worthy.

This kit is a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the telescoping grabber tool has a remarkably strong magnet as you can see, it easily picks up and holds onto heavy metal items without dropping them. However, the overall build quality is disappointing. The plastic housing on the window breaker tool arrived cheaply made and is already splitting apart at the seams before even being used. If you just need the long reach bars and the magnetic pickup tool, it gets the job done, but don't expect premium quality across the whole set, the carrying bag is very thin and cheaply made too and the zippers dont glide to well.

I bought this for interior vehicle work including dash panels, door panels, clips, and radio installation projects. Having the correct tools makes a huge difference compared to using screwdrivers and hoping for the best. The variety of pry tools covers most situations, and the plastic material is firm enough to remove clips while still being less likely to scratch trim pieces. The included clip removal tools were especially helpful for stubborn fasteners that normally break during removal. I've used similar kits before and this one has enough pieces that I rarely find myself searching for a different tool. Everything stores neatly together so it isn't scattered around the toolbox. Tip: Start with the widest pry tool that fits the gap. It distributes pressure better and reduces the chance of marring interior panels. For DIY automotive work, this is an easy 5-star addition to the toolbox.

Auto Trim Removal Tool Kit Great kit for removing lots of different trim. So far I've removed a door panel and some dash trim panels to get at an IPC. The small airbag is way more useful than I expected. I'll definitely be adding more of those to my toolboxes. The long pullers are also really useful. You can thread three or four rods together when needed. I did have a problem with the glass hammer, mine was broken on the end and I had to glue it. The telescoping magnet is pretty helpful for retrieving stuff. The small pry bar is probably the thing I use the most. Very versatile tool. Good value
