Time for a real review. The hammer design is where this toy is flawed from the get go. While it may have a nearly 2 inch stroke distance, you're lucky to get anywhere near an inch of actual action if you hold it with one hand on the lever. To get the true stroke distance, you're force to hold it with both hands at the hammer head and ignore the actual arm of the hammer. I've seen other designs that are not hammer based that would likely be more effective. Otherwise, it is easy to clean. Use a good lube, hold firm on the hammer head and you'll get decent use of it. Holding it elsewhere on the handle renders it nearly worthless and garners minimal shaft travel. I'd suggest a different design and there's plenty out there to choose from. Fortunately, this one was relatively cheap to try out.
