I recently installed this 6 Volt Electric Fuel Pump with the included installation kit, and it's been a fantastic upgrade for my classic carbureted vehicle (a '53 Dodge Coronet, specifically). Finding reliable 6-volt parts can sometimes be a challenge, but this pump fits the bill perfectly. The inline design was easy to integrate into my fuel system, and the 5/16" inlet and outlet fittings were exactly what I needed. The 5-8 PSI pressure range is ideal for carbureted setups like mine, providing consistent fuel delivery without overwhelming the carburetor. My engine starts easier and runs smoother now, especially after sitting for a while. The installation kit had everything necessary, making the process straightforward. It feels like a quality unit, and I appreciate that it's designed as a direct replacement/equivalent for models like the E8011 and SP1124. All this pump did right out of the box was make noise. Never moved a drop of fuel. Unfortunately i was way outside the return window to return it. So I trashed it and bought another brand which i just installed and i got a little over an hour before that one died. Fortunately it died after a short test drive right in front of my house. I wish Amazon returns were easier. If you want a replacement. They will have a truck deliver it and pick up the old one. If you want your money back they make you take to a UPS drop off or UPS store which we don't have where I live. Nearest store is 35 miles away so I have to plan other errands to make it worth it. Its a $25.00 Chinese pump. They don't carry anything else and I don't trust them after two back to back failures. Should even get one star its a big ZERO ... show more
