Purchased these for my 2005 Ford F-150 Super Crew. Delivery was outstanding. Arrived 3-days after ordering, not the 10-14 days originally estimated. Be careful when removing the plastic packaging. It sticks to the tape covering the 2-sided adhesive strips. With a little care it can be safely removed without removing the tape covers. Installation wasn't quite as easy as expected, especially the rear windows. Rear window clips were impossible to install with just my fingers; a flathead screwdriver proved very useful and greatly eased installation. Front window installation was easier but took some finessing. There is no visible gap at the top of the window, but they still seem to be about 1/8 - 1/4 inch lower than before installation. Some concern that the adhesive tape is not as good as advertised (thus the low rating for adhesion), but instructions say to leave the windows closed for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to set. We'll see what happens. Overall, this appears to be an excellent product. Materials appear to be high quality, installation was very easy, and they look great on my truck. ... show more

Had these on my truck for about 15 yrs and worked great. My sons managed to break 2 of them playing basketball in driveway a couple weeks ago. Got new ones last week and tried to install. Noticed they changed a bit. They used to have a wide flange for the mounting tape. Now it's skinny with a little skinny piece of tape. The rear ones don't even have the flange it's just a couple tabs along edge. Front ones went in ok. Back one window would catch on it so I pulled out on it like the instructions said and it snapped right in half. I noticed the number on the visor did not match the package number. I checked that number and found it's for a different year and model truck. I called AVS to see if it would still work for my truck. They said it was packaged by mistake and put me in touch with Amazon where I had ordered it. Amazon sent me a replacement. 2 days ago one of the front visors came loose already. Received the replacement yesterday. Before I tried to install rear visors I reinstalled front one that fell out using some double sided tape that I already had. When I opened the replacement package 2 visors were broken. Guess which. The 2 rear ones I needed were broken. These are being returned for a refund and I already ordered others from a different company. I won't be buying from AVS anymore. Also the number on the visor in replacement pack is for other truck again. ... show more

I ordered these for a 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCrew truck. My first set had one visor that simply did not fit. After installing the other 3 before finding this out, I was somewhat worried. I contacted Amazon and they immediately shipped out another set. The offending visor was sent back and the proper fitting one was installed from the new package. The installation was pretty easy overall, although I highly suggest you check to see if your window will roll all of the way up PRIOR to using the double-sided tape. Once you install the tape, there is no removing it without damaging your window seals. They have been installed for about 6 months and work great to keep the rain out and the windows cracked during the heat of the summer. It definitely helps keep the interior cooler. My only complaint is that as time has gone on, the driver's side window is having difficulty rolling up all the way. I like the looks of these since they mount in the window channel and give a cleaner appearance, but if I had to do it over I would probably go with the external mounted version so it wouldn't interfere with my windows. ... show more

Bought these for my 2006 F150 4-door. Had some in-channel visors on my last truck (Dodge Ram) and they fit and worked great. These in-channel visors, however, not so much. The rear visors' are poorly designed from the functionality standpoint. The flanges for the two-sided tape are extremely inadequate for the window channels--no full length flange spanning the top of the visors for adhering inside the top frame channel, just two thin 2" tabs spaced out about a third of the way in on either side of the visors. And they're way too shallow for the window channels as well so less than half of the adhesive tape's surface is making contact inside the window channel at the desired contact points. And to add to the aggravation, the plastic window channel clips provided with the visors (specifically for the rear visors) to keep them clear of the glass as it goes up and down are first and foremost too susceptible to heat exposure from the sun to hold the spacing for any length of time before their spines weaken and collapse. And even if they were sturdy, they cannot be seated all the way into the channel as designed and still reach the visor's flange to keep it properly spaced for the glass. And I'm sorry to say, the front visors, which weren't supposed to need any spacer clips assistance at all, had the same glass clearance issues. So I did a little research before deciding to return them to see if I was missing a trick and found that others were getting more permanent results by replacing the flimsy plastic clips with metal clips. They were a cheap fix so I decided to give them a try. On the plus side, they did cure the clearance issues on my front visors, but the rear's flange tabs are still too shallow for even the longer reach of the metal clips so it still will not stay in place unless the window is all the way up. Very frustrating. So now that my return window has expired, I either have to try to fabricate special clips to help hold this visor in place or just cut my losses and pull them off altogether. Very disappointing purchase since the quality I received in these visors is a far cry from the quality of the visors I purchased for my previous truck. Overall, they do look good on the truck when the windows are up and holding them in place, but 3 stars for poor functionality. ... show more
