Had a 32" in. Philips roku tv going strong for the past 6 years and upgraded to this projector, and I am super impressed! Very good sound quality (use theater mode for the loudest audio) and the video quality is superb for the pricepoint. Even looks bright and vibrant with the room lights on surprisingly!! Easy to set up if you've used a roku in the past but if not its still simple to set up and its simple to adjust the aspect ratio, it can project super big to just the right size of the blank wall that I had that tiny tv at lol. Connects easy to the roku app and the brightness is amazing as well. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and if your looking for something not too expensive, easy to plug in and set up, this is your go to!! :D Will update if anything changes. :) ( p.s. I havent used the bluetooth yet since the built in audio is already perfect for me personally but, if you hook it to a bt speaker or some type of surround sound you'd be set!! ) ... show more

One of the best purchases I’ve made. It’s so worth the price! I had a $60 mini projector that I bought, I forgot the brand, I think it was aruzen? Anyway, after exactly one year, it burnt out and half of the screen was red and orange. I had to toss it out and immediately bought this one and I do not regret it! You definitely get what you pay for. This one is so much louder and everything it plays is in 4K. The quality is amazing, it looks just like a tv. Plus, all of the built in apps are so convenient. I don’t need my fire stick anymore. And it also gives you access to many movies and shows on the Roku Channel. If you’re thinking about getting one, get this one! ... show more

If anyone gives this less than 5 stars they are a moron. I bought this on prime days while it was $119.99. It seemed cheap enough that it was worth the risk, and I knew Roku TV was a good buy. I’ve had cheap projectors and you usually have to mirror your phone or connect another device to stream anything and it lags and the speakers suck. I ordered this for movie night to surprise my husband but tested it out first. On a textured wall, set about 12’ away, it took up my whole wall and the picture quality was impressive. It connected just like a Roku TV, with a QR code and a couple clicks and it auto focused to determine the best picture size and square it up. I ordered a second one for a birthday gift and bought a cheap $25 screen that had “front and rear projection” in the description. I thought that meant you could shoot a picture to either side but when it came in the materials were so thin I thought maybe it played through to both sides at the same time. We had it halfway between the porch and pool for the 4th and you could see it on either side! Awesome bonus! The speakers are good for sitting close and a small party but we connected a JBL for this. It connected easier than a cell phone. Pro tip, for anyone who didn’t know this, JBL (and a lot of other major brands) speakers can link together so you can sit them on either side or spread them around. If you download the JBL app you can select the mode where they don’t play the same thing (party mode) or where it plays the left and right speakers in stereo sound. This was definitely worth the $120, but even at average price history of $160 it’s a solid buy and great for a regular tv even. Easy set up for shooting it across the room, to the ceiling or mounting overhead. I am not paid for this ad but I wish I could get a commission because I could sell this to anyone! ... show more

I've been trying this out for 2 months now. I decided I wanted this instead of a traditional television. I was hoping it would be reliable and last and the roku feature would be much easier. Well my instincts were correct and this is a winner!!! It is vibrant, bright, and easy to use. Just plug in and sign into your roku account and you're good to go! It pulled all my apps up from my account in 1 second. The picture will be more vibrant the closer you are to the screen you're projecting onto. I used it on an empty light sand colored wall. I usually have it about 5 foot tall and 8 foot wide and it's fine. I close the blinds to do this otherwise you can make the picture much smaller. The saturation of the picture works and the darker the room the better the picture can be seen. if it's overcast or cloudy I can leave the blinds open, it's only when the sun is coming directly in the window without any clouds that I would have issues. There are picture settings, sound settings etc. just like a Roku TV. This was exactly what I was looking for. It's light weight and it would be easy to take to someone elses house. It keeps your account signed on even when you unplug it. : An added bonus If you like to watch TV before bed you are not getting all that blue light pollution right in your face before bedtime. The only criticism I have is the sound. It's ok but I do have to raise the volume up quite a bit and if you want to watch a movie you may want to invest in some speakers. I feel the built in speakers are not as good as my TV speakers but it's barely noticeable and well worth the price, that's the only reason I took away a star is for the sound. I’ve had this for a few weeks now. I use it every day and for hours. I bought this because I accidentally broke my precious 65” TV and I do not have new smart TV money. So this alternative had to work. Thank goodness it did! I replaced my regular TV with a projector and I do not regret it one bit. You can easily replace your TV with this one because of Roku’s format. I’m familiar with Roku so there was nothing to learn on setup. It’s Roku TV as a projector. It’s also better for your eyes, which is good if you have chronic eye strain. It’s naturally better because you’re not looking at a light box but instead projected light. The clarity was better than expected. If you’re going to use a projector as often as a TV, you will benefit more by investing in a quality projector screen instead of a bedsheet or a TEMU knock off. Regular smart TV’s are expensive and this alleviates that struggle. Speaking of, if you don’t have them already, get some good speakers because the sound quality on this just won’t do. It’s a small device, how much sound quality can you expect it to have? Anyway, get some good speakers to enjoy movie nights and regular viewing. It’s super easy to set up too. You won’t effort from setting it up. Lastly, the compromises: it’s not great during the day in a room with abundant natural light. Projected light will strain under external light in its path. I put my screen by a window curtain that I do not open. It’s helps but eh. Doesn’t stop me most days though. The engine is slightly loud at times but it’s one of those sounds you only notice when you turn it off. Sometimes it runs hot but a TV runs hotter and a lot is being asked of it anyway. I may try putting it on a cooling pad. If you’ve read this, just get the thing lol. For its price, oh yeah. My smart tv is no more but I did not suffer because even after the total cost of a projector, new speakers, a projector stand, and a projector screen, I still spent less than HALF of the cost of a fragile smart tv that will break the moment you accidentally throw your remote at it. It’s a great price and it’s worth it. Very last thing: I got a 100 inch projector screen. Imagine that upgrade from a 65” TV. It’s lovey lol ... show more

This projector is AWESOME! Setup is quick and easy. Hooked right up to WiFi, Roku acct, YouTube TV, Hulu, etc. Picture quality is phenomenal, I’m mean seriously. Connected a Milwaukee Tool Bluetooth speaker to the projected then linked it to a 2nd Milwaukee Tool speaker and we have perfect surround sound outside. If you’re looking at this, order it NOW!! You won’t regret it. We are using the 16’ inflatable screen with no issues as all. Movie night was Halloween with a moon in the sky that makes the scare-factor just a little more exciting.
