This toy is so strange, it came fully charged with very little instructions on how to assemble and use it. However, once you play around a little bit with the strings and tie on some goodies for the ends (I added additional small toys we had around the house) and turn it on- it’s quite the experience! My cats aren’t that bright, and the fact that it run’s automatically in intervals has certainly confused them.. however, they play with it! This toy is super entertaining and I love the different modes it comes with to match my cats' energy levels! Mine came with two long strings - one stretchy and one fabric ribbon. The stretchy string is perfect for my cats who love to bite the bait and walk around with it in their mouths. The media could not be loaded. We bought this toy to help give our boys some mental stimulation while we’re busy working. Both our cats love this toy and play with it and another toy we got throughout the day. We’ve seen an increase in their play / hunting drive and have been able to better tell when they want to play vs when they want attention or other needs fulfilled. Pros: Rechargeable with C charger Long battery life Two strings and two feather bells so you have a replacement. Modes turn on and off automatically so they cats have breaks and don’t get bored Sturdy over the door hanger with foam pads that don’t scratch the front or back of the doors. Cons: The hanger makes it hard to install on some doors because it catches on our door trim. We have to install this on doors that swing into the room vs out which means we can’t use our closet doors which would be the most convenient for us. The toy does need a little supervision. Our cat is a chewer (as shown in the video) we had to adjust the string so that it was more difficult for him to play tug-o-war or chew the toy off but still at a length that they thought was fun…plus other cats have been harmed by similar toys so we have this in an area between our two work spaces so my husband and I can see them play. The wand mechanism is pretty weak. We tried different toys like a squeaky mouse from a similar toy and a feather from their manual wand but they were too heavy to really fling around in the way that our cats thought was engaging. The bells are annoying AF. They grab the attention of the cats and they come running to play but omg trying to be on meetings or concentrate is hard when the bell is furiously jingling. Amazon suggested wiggle worms when we bought this product which we may buy as a quieter solution. All and all this was a great purchase. Our boys run to play with their new toys. My cat loves stringed toys, so this seemed like an absolute no-brainer purchase. We weren't disappointed! The cat does enjoy this toy, though the novelty wore off for her after not too long. I don't really care for the string the toy came with, as it's somewhat flimsy, but it seems like it's necessary....because the motor driving this thing is quite weak. It can only handle very little weight before it stalls and fails. And by very little, I mean we tried to add a fabric and felt crab to the end to give the cat some more visual stimuli, but even that miniscule weight was too much. So just be forewarned about that. The actual movements the toy makes is really fascinating to watch, and I love that it can be left on for hours and will only run occasionally. ... show more

When this bad boy first went up, both of my cats were interested and seemed to love it…and then they started fighting eachother. The moment the toy turns on, no matter where they are or what they’re doing, they immediately begin to ✨AGGRESSIVELY✨ fight each other (which they have never done before). I gave it a break for a week to see if it was a one time thing… nope! Instantly stated brawling again. After multiple attempts, I had to throw it away as literally anytime it starts up, they begin to try to end each others lives. For some reason this thing has triggered a primal rage instinct in them that only occurs when this toy is in motion. Maybe my cats are just idiots, but be warned for those with multicat households. ... show more
