These are great. My son is very lean and these are PERFECT in the waist, the length, and the material. Since he's tall, most shorts that fit his waist are too short.. or if they're the right the length then they're too big in the waist. Not these, though. I admit the material is thin but it's not actually "see-through" to me. I have never noticed his dark underwear beneath any of these shorts and he has the orange, red, yellow, and purple. As for durability-- I bought a little over a month ago, washed them several times, and both the color and material are still perfect. I'm going to buy every color eventually. ... show more

My son is 6 years old and fits 7/8 bottoms I got the small they sit right above his knee and says they are very comfortable, lightweight, fit good and don’t hurt his waist. I will definitely keep ordering for future sports

exactly what i wanted. My son likes lebron and got his jersey for his birthday and I have OCD about matching colors lol. So i found these cheap but nicely made shorts that match the gold in lebron maroon jersey as well as all his WVU shirts. They are light in colors so i expected some dirt stains as he is a outdoorsman type child with dirt bikes, hoverboards, and plays hard at school. They've held up with minimal dirt stains so i plan on ordering them again for a school pair only no playing basketball outside in them this time. I got the youth small and he is your average 8 year old. He wears 8 in all brands except unisex tshirt i order and make custom items he is medium 10-12 in those due to his height. my 7 yr old is 65lbs and these fit him well, hit right at the knee and the material is different, slick but not thin like athletic material. almost like very thick costume material. He didn’t mention any discomfort during practice so I think they’re a win
