These are definitely sheer curtains - my living room window faces the street and with the sheers closed you can see in and out of the window, no problem. These sheers look beautiful on a double curtain rod with bolder curtains on the outer rod. I love the soft whimsical look they create, and that the pom poms provide some visual interest. They did arrive slightly wrinkled from the packaging, but I'm sure that could be fixed if I bothered to steam them or wash/hang dry. ... show more

These sheers are really pretty with a linen like texture to them that lets in plenty of light; but also isn't annoyingly see-through. The pom poms are a really cute feature and I love the way they look both day and night. The color is also really nice and exactly what I had hoped for.

Though the description makes these sound like they'd be better for a nursery, I'm using these as additional panels in my bedroom and love the amount of light they let in. They're not too girly, so I think they'd be fine in any space that you want a lot of light. But they're not so sheer that I can't pull them shut during the day and change without the outside world being a witness (at night that would be a different story). They're a true beige and the embroider design is very nice. We have a very large bedroom window, so I need more than 2 panels which I've used a different set for the other two needed to give some variety. But I feel these are worth their price. ... show more

These faux linen sheers are see through like sheers. The material is somewhere between linen and a refined burlap. The feel is a rough, but gives the impression of durability. The weave of the pom lines give stability. Would have been nice to have a deeper rod pocket.
