OK, we aren't talking fine jewelry when it costs $12.99. So I am speaking from a cost value here. The cross is nice and will be worn by my wife frequently. She really liked it and when I told her the price, she liked it even more. She mentioned that she wants to replace the chain with one of her higher end chains. I got this as a gift to accompany something else, and the recipient liked it very much. It is an inexpensive, 'costume jewelry' type item, but it doesn't scream "CHEAP" as some such items do. When the recipient looked at it, she seemed genuinely perplexed when I compulsively apologized for it, only because I knew the price... she didn't, and only viewed it for its own aesthetic, and liked it a lot. Overall, very pleased with this little necklace, especially for the price!
