hung these curtains up in my living room, along with a pair gray sheer panels that hang in the middle. the curtains blend well with the sheer panels, easy slide onto the pocket rod pole. the length is perfect.

I'm not sure what meaning of "linen" was applied to these curtains. They're the light beige color sometimes called linen; they're coarsely woven; and they do contain linen fabric - not a lot, but there's actually flax in these. 5% linen, 14% rayon, 81% polyester. If these were clothes, that would be entirely unacceptable (I want actual linen for clothes, not polyester blend) - but for curtains, it's fine. They've got several ways of hanging - a channel at the top, plus "belt loop" sort of straps along the channel; and it's loosely woven enough to take curtain hooks (sharp points into the cloth, in the seam of the channel). That's how I put them up, I have curtain rods with little tabs inset so that I can open and close the curtains with a string at the end rather than pulling them along a smooth rod. They're the right length, sufficiently opaque and thin enough to fold together at the sides when I have them open (so they don't obstruct the glass door). They work fine. ... show more

These curtains are decent window shades for your room. The natural linen material gives a rustic, farmhouse feel to the room, which I thought I would like but I ended up removing them partly due to the beige color. The light filtering feature provides privacy while still allowing some light to come through. The rod pocket back tab design makes them easy to hang. This is false advertisement. The curtain only contain 5% linen, which is ridiculous if you read the advertisement and description of the product. It does look nice once hung, but I wanted real linen.
