I live in a postage stamp of a studio without in-unit (or even accessible on-site) laundry. I'm not in the best health and laundromat trips are arduous. If used a couple times a week, it's more than possible to keep up with my laundry. These are small enough to store in my closets (I added casters for convenience) and the washer is lightweight enough that I can pick it up to fully drain the hose when I'm done for the day. There are some little quirks to learn, as with all machines. (I've found it prudent to do a second spin cycle after the washer says it's done.) They do make noise but only at the level to be expected of small machines--comparable to my countertop dishwasher, only a little louder than my window unit. It's not bothersome to me. I was worried these wouldn't stand up to the amount of laundry I had to do when they first arrived. They're so lightweight I really questioned it--especially the washer--but they seem to be durable. Jury's out on power usage; there has been a lot of snow lately. I'll report back in May.

What great little set-up. If you are single, retired, or even a couple with small needs; These are items to consider. Washer: quiet, effective, lightweight. Washes clothes, sheets and pants well. And if your clothes need to soak, you can pause it for as long as you want/need. Dryer: great little unit. Not as efficient as I'd like it to be because it runs on 115 volts, but still great for small spaces and loads. It has a built in lint-trap, do not buy external lint-trap. Comes with a shoe drying attachment, Not pictured. Check manufacturer for load sizes, laundry and detergent amounts.
