But don’t mistake grounded for heavy. At less than 230 grams, the ATH-GL3 is extremely lightweight, allowing you to game for hours in comfort. Inside the closed-back housings are large 45 mm drivers that provide high-resolution audio with exquisite detail. The left earcup has a built-in volume control dial and a mute switch for convenient control of the professional-quality boom microphone. The mic is detachable, as are the two included cables: a 3.0 m (9.8') cable with 3.5 mm (1/8") mic and headphone plugs for connecting to computers, and a 1.2 m (3.9') cable with a 3.5 mm (1/8") TRRS plug for connecting to PS5, Xbox Series X, and other gaming consoles. Compatible with PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, laptops, PCs, and other devices with a standard 3.5 mm TRRS headset connector or with a separate mic input and headphone output.

They sound great, if you can get past the rickety squeaking of the moving parts. This headset makes more noise just from its moving parts than any other headphones i've ever worn. my ears hurt while wearing this as the drivers are shallow and the padding thin. i was going to get Wicked Cushion earpads to try and negate this but i don't know if i can handle one more day with the squeaking sounds. i might bite the bullet and return both the headset and the incoming wicked cushions package. i want to like these cause i enjoy the sound profile, but from a name like audio technica, i wish these had more consideration of the wearer... now i don't know what headset to replace these. the cheaper razer v2s felt like clouds on my ears but the microphone just didnt function as well. the mic did sound the best just plugging in than the razer barracudas and the blackshark v2s... ugh. i hate having to return things. ... show more

These headphones are light, comfortable, sound incredible, and the mic is top quality but the cable isn't available for purchase so I'm making a new cable tonight and that's a huge bummer for this price.

First off the sound is very good for the price. I came from a headset that was almost 70 dollars more and these by far sound better. Super light l. Mic is a little on the low side but that can be adjusted in windows settings and adjust how far mic is from mouth. Mic and cable are removable only downside is the mic slider for on and off is a little confusing. You have to turn it towards off to turn it on and towards on to turn it off. And the volume wheel is small and not easy to locate or turn. But worth the trade off to me for the sound quality and how they feel while gaming for hours at a time. ... show more

After purchasing a small amplifier I decided to keep these headphones. The amp made all the difference. Great range highs & lows. I have some higher end headphones but for the $$ these are pretty good.

sound quality is pretty good at this price (<$100). Some may complain the cheap plastic looking but overall it is pretty light weight design. I always set volume control and mic to loudest and on, control the volume directly on computer instead.

First off the cords provided are the thinnest possible cord that has ever been created and now the left side has no sound, and replacing the cord is incredibly difficult as its a weird sized jack
