this is a pretty pricey but large sized bar of soap! it says face but I was using all over. I think it did a good job managing oil while not being overly drying. while I prefer using face wash and body wash, I know a lot of dudes who couldn't be bothered and just use bar soap for all cleaning. if you're going to do that, at least use a soap like this for the sake of your face skin!

This soap lathers easily and seems to do a good job cleaning the face, although it seemed to leave my skin a little dry. My main dislike is the scent. I’m guessing it was supposed to be the scent of charcoal, but to me it has a cross between a chemically scent and the scent when a rag sits in water too long and starts to stink. Honestly, I realized I was scrunching my nose every time I applied it to my face, so I am probably going to try to pass this on to someone else who doesn’t mind the scent.

First, I'm not a man, although woman does have 'man' in it, so that counts? I couldn't resist a charcoal soap, so I grabbed this when I saw it. It has a nice scent, but the ingredients say 'fragrance,' and not essential oil, so points off for that. This has such great ingredients, I wish it didn't have artificial scents. It lathers beautifully, in fact, I had too much lather and could have just swiped my damp hand across the soap a few times to get more than enough for my face. It rinses well and left me feeling clean. I noticed that the suds didn't stain my sink, which is a good thing, but makes me think of when I make charcoal soap at home and the black bubbles get everywhere. Then again, I'm just a home cook, seems the pros have ways to make less of a mess. All in all, this is a fine soap. A+

The soap does pretty good job at leaving your face feeling clean and moisturized, but the moisturizing power of this soap could be better for it's price. I do enjoy the deep, rich scent it produces, but I feel like my skin feels dryer that other premium/bespoke soaps I've used in the past. It's supposed to be geared toward people with oilier skin like myself, as I tend to get pimples on my face a lot, but I feel like it may be making them worse, causing me to wipe my problems areas with rubbing alcohol after each used. First off, this is good, clean soap. Perfect for oily skin, as it is a little bit drying. I like this soap for me; it cleans really well and seems to attack the oily T-Zone on my face. Made in the U.S.A., which is a good thing! However, even though this is a very generous sized bar of soap, I can't justify the price tag. In my opinion, a bar of soap for washing your face is not worth 19 dollars, even if it is nice soap like this. Does the job, though, and I like the nice, clean ingredients. The scent is very subtle, and did not bother me at all. Four stars.

I use this to remove sunscreen after long runs. My sunscreen is cream and seems to stay in my pores and clogs my face. This removes it pretty good and remove the oil on my skin. This also works as deodorizing. It makes my skin smells so fresh after shower. The only thing is it actually make my skin dry for too deep cleaning. Over all I like it and works for me as an athlete

This is an average sized bar of soap, I'd actually call it standard size as it is like most bars of soap one can find on the shelves. This size is perfect as I don't like too big or too small. The good thing about this soap is that it lathers really well, and I love that part. The part that's a little disappointing is the scent. There is only a very light scent to this bar of soap. We have sulfur water here so I try to use strong scents when it comes to soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. The soap seems to moisturize fine, and it is not irritating to my overly sensitive skin so that's good news.

I got this facial cleansing bar for my teen boy who has sweat induced pimples on his face. This cleansing bar worked really well and didn’t dry him out too much and got him started on a proper routine hygiene for his face and scalp.
