Description

Ten pound, cast iron Navy style anchor 9933-1. Navy anchors combine weight with flukes to dig in and hold firmly in sand and mud. The reverse action of the shank allows quick retrieval of a fouled anchor. For best anchoring results it's best to connect to anchor chain then the anchor rope. • Minnkota Deckhand fits good!

The only issue I see is the raw casting could have been better before it was coated with the rubber or plastic coating. But this fits perfect in my Minnkota Deckhand anchor retrieving unit! I bought a similar anchor and had to send it back because the shaft was too big and would not go fully into the mount! So far, I like it! ... show more

    • Great anchor for the price
Color: Silver Style: 18-lbs
Had a 10lber that wasn't quite enough. This one works great.

    • HOLDS
Color: Silver Style: 15-lbs
I have had a few anchors but this one is the best. I have an 18ft. SEA RAE and in the past I have had trouble hoolding the boat in place with a moderate wind. I think this one would hold my boat in a hurricane. Great anchor.

Haven't used yet, but it is as described and was good value.

    • It's an anchor...
Color: Black Style: 12-lbs
It's an anchor, it is heavy. I ordered this one as the local stores had either grappling style, or mushroom anchors. I am hoping this will have some characteristics of both, without becoming easily snagged on roots and such.

    • great value
I still cant believe Amazon can send this to Hawaii for this price. Perfect anchor for racing marks. You still need to add 6-8 ft of chain.

    • Excellent Anchor
This is an outstanding anchor for the price. It is well made and will work for my intended purpose. The price was considerable less than that for a similar product at the marine hardware store. It was not in stock when I ordered it but it was delivered before the promised date.
