The only issue I see is the raw casting could have been better before it was coated with the rubber or plastic coating. But this fits perfect in my Minnkota Deckhand anchor retrieving unit! I have had a few anchors but this one is the best. I have an 18ft. SEA RAE and in the past I have had trouble hoolding the boat in place with a moderate wind. I think this one would hold my boat in a hurricane. Great anchor.

It's an anchor, it is heavy. I ordered this one as the local stores had either grappling style, or mushroom anchors. I am hoping this will have some characteristics of both, without becoming easily snagged on roots and such.

I still cant believe Amazon can send this to Hawaii for this price. Perfect anchor for racing marks. You still need to add 6-8 ft of chain.

This is an outstanding anchor for the price. It is well made and will work for my intended purpose. The price was considerable less than that for a similar product at the marine hardware store. It was not in stock when I ordered it but it was delivered before the promised date.
