Build Quality: This anchor is cast from solid iron, and you feel that weight immediately. It’s not hollow or cheaply constructed. The coating is uniform and durable, offering solid corrosion resistance even after repeated freshwater exposure. I’ve yet to see any signs of flaking or rust after a month of frequent use. Performance on the Water: I tested this with my 16-foot aluminum fishing boat in varying wind conditions (up to 15 mph), and it held firm on both mud and gravel bottoms. The wide flukes dig in quickly and reset easily if the boat shifts direction. For lakes with occasional current or chop, this anchor provides peace of mind without requiring chain-heavy setups. This anchor is solid, holds well and doesn’t leave rust all over your boat due to its molded covering. I have a 21’ wakeboard boat and have two of these, one for front and one for the back.
