I used this anchor on a 15’ Boston Whaler. In sandy to soft sandy bottom it holds well. Put a couple feet of 3/8 chain on it and go . The fold up feature makes for convenient storage. Well made anchor.

Nothing super fancy, but holds my 10' kayak just fine. Would by again for the price.

I use with my 10' sit on top kayak on mostly rocky bottoms in rivers. Can tend to slide on the bottom some if its a sandy bottom, but still gets the job done the vast majority of the time. The part modling is alright, and is in no way a precision made piece of equipment, but for the price I would buy it again. Perfect for kayak and paddle board!

My boyfriend and I both use these weights on our paddle board and kayak when we go fishing. Sometimes the waves from the boats still kick us further into shore, but for the most part these weights can keep us a ways out to fish off the banks. Did not hold my small 15 ft boat

These would probably work better if they were heavier. It did not dig in week at all. Just slid along the bottom. I used it in 3 different bottoms. Hard dirt, muck that was like clay and sand. Did not hold my boat. I had to get a different anchor. I believe this would work fine for a small kayak since it is compact and easy to store. ... show more
