You love your Dyson machine. You spent a ton of money on it. But you need more attachments. Do you give Dyson a bunch more money for injection molded plastic parts or do you spend a lot less and buy basically the same injection molded plastic parts from a 3rd party? Well hey now I’m writing this here review so you can probably guess how I went. These attachments work great. The only minor complaint I have is the red button click tolerances are a tiny bit off - to the point I have to wiggle the collection canister a tad for the attachment to “click”. Who knows, my machine’s older, maybe it’s me. I’m human. I make Dyson related mistakes. But I didn’t make a mistake buying this particular set of tools. The media could not be loaded. I waited far too long to get me a set of these. When I bought my Dyson V7, it didn’t come with much. It had the main vacuum head and the multi function attachment, the one that has the bristles that slide up and down. I was mildly upset to not see a crevice tool or a hose or a good dusting brush. This set has all of those at less than a third the price of buying them all separate from Dyson. The quality of them seems to be about 95% of what the Dyson ones are. The plastic used to make them is near identical and the only noticeable difference is that the red buttons used to attach the attachments do not push in as smooth as the originals. They attach perfectly fine and I have no fears of them falling out of the vacuum, it just doesn’t feel as ‘premium.’ One thing that I wish I had known before purchasing this is something about the flexible hose. It does not have power pass-through. This means that you cannot use any powered attachments (such as the fluffy roller, the carpet attachment or the mini-motorized tool) as they will not work, or even fit because of the power terminals being in the way.
