Totally blown away! All of these attachments and WAY LESS than a "shopping channel" price! And they are the SAME tools that were offered on the channel w/o the "Dyson" name on them. I compared. Lol Anyone looking for "accessories" for their Dyson, please get these. You will NOT be disappointed.

    • Dyson v10 fit is mixed
Size: AA:Hose Attachment Kit
I got these tools to use with a Dyson v10 Absolute. The main tool i wanted was a mattress tool, i had most of what i needed besides that, the tools coming with this kit that i did not have were mattress tool, hard bristle brush and hose. After reading reviews here, the hose sounded good to me. I tried out the tools today. What happened was, i put the hose on the hand held part of the Dyson, it went on easily, like it was made for it. Then i started attaching tools to the end of the hose, i started with the mattress tool, it worked ok. With some of the tools that came with the kit, i had trouble getting the tool on and off, it didn't seem like a good fit, i had to force the tool on, and getting it off was harder, a lot of force in an awkward position. This was true with the soft dusting brush and hard bristle brush, it was to a point where i didn't even try to force all of the tools on, i didn't want to force them or struggle with it. I had the same experience with the Dyson tools that came with the vacuum, i had to force them on to the end of the hose. Like i said, the hose fit really easily onto the vacuum , it was the other end of the hose that i had trouble with. i wanted to use the mini-turbo tool with the hose and it was extremely hard to force on and harder to get off, i won't try it again. At first i thought maybe it was because i wasn't lining up the slot with the groove, though i didn't have trouble with that using the dyson tools that came with the vacuum. So i kept trying while being careful to line up the lot with the part that fit into it. Also when the end of the hose clicked into place with the tool, there was some force needed and the click was kind of loud, unlike the dyson tools which slipped into place, not on the hose--like i said, some fit easy, others were hard to get on. My bottom line feeling about the tools in the kit is good, i'm glad to have a mattress tool, and the others may be useful as back ups and replacements, but the hose wasn't fitting with either the tools that came with it or the dyson tools in some cases, at least half. I give it a 4 because i got what i wanted, not a 5 because of the problems. i think the people who have other models of Dyson handheld have a different fit than my v10. ... show more

You love your Dyson machine. You spent a ton of money on it. But you need more attachments. Do you give Dyson a bunch more money for injection molded plastic parts or do you spend a lot less and buy basically the same injection molded plastic parts from a 3rd party? Well hey now I’m writing this here review so you can probably guess how I went. These attachments work great. The only minor complaint I have is the red button click tolerances are a tiny bit off - to the point I have to wiggle the collection canister a tad for the attachment to “click”. Who knows, my machine’s older, maybe it’s me. I’m human. I make Dyson related mistakes. But I didn’t make a mistake buying this particular set of tools. These are the parts that definitely get lost in a big house after awhile. They fit my dyson perfectly and now I don't have to worry about losing or damaging them (not that it's likely) because I didn't realize they could get replaced so easily!
