Description

The ATLIN 14mm spark plug socket is a specialty thin wall socket designed to remove 12 point spark plugs from certain vehicles. This spark plug tool is compatible with 2007+ BMW 3.0L turbocharged engines such as the N54, N55, N20, N26, S55, N63, B46, B48, and B58 This thin wall socket is also compatible with various Nissan vehicles, BMW motorcycles such as the R1200GS, and a wide range of MINI vehicles, such as those with the R55, R56, R57, and R60 engines. Because magnets can sometimes break or fall off of sockets and o-rings can sometimes grip too tightly, this socket was specially designed with a metal leaf spring retainer system which holds the spark plug firmly in place, but still allows for easy removal. The ATLIN thin wall bmw spark plug socket is a 3/8 inch square drive socket and is manufactured from durable, chrome vanadium steel.

I bought this 14mm thin-walled spark plug socket specifically for my 2016 Honda Civic, and it was exactly what I needed. A regular deep 14mm socket was just too thick to fit down into the plug wells, which was super frustrating. This thin-walled design solved that problem perfectly (it slides in with no issue). The socket feels durable and well-machined, not cheap or flimsy like some of the off-brand ones I’ve seen. It grips the spark plugs nicely, and I had no problem loosening or tightening them. Honestly, this tool saved me a ton of hassle. Without it, I would’ve been stuck or had to pay a shop just to get the plugs swapped out. ... show more
