Got it yesterday and stayed up late to get it finished. It was not difficult at all and I had a lot of fun putting it together. Pros: - All that you read in these reviews about the positives. They are all true. - sturdy - customizable, only if you choose to not use the accessories - the back power strip basket is ingenious! Such a great idea - the two slits in the back is good for running cables - table top is very cool and has a slight rough feel that makes it feel "gripy" - table composition is good and solid and allows you to put new screws in without much of a problem, and keeps the screws tight. Cons: - you cannot switch the sides of the accessories. For example, the cup holder cannot switch with the headset mount. Now, don't get wrong. You can put the screws into new areas and make it work for sure. But the built in screw holes don't allow for switching. No problem if you want to screw in yourself - a little bit smaller table size than I expected - does not have a place to put a desktop computer. Putting it on the floor on the inside of the table would cramp your feet. I put mine to the outside edge. - I don't really get the media holders in the back, so I flipped them upside down in order to have a "cup" area. I put my speakers in there and that works great for me. My speakers are always moving with the kids, and this way they will not get knocked over and moved around. To do this however, I had to put the media holder on top of the table and screw in. It was not designed for this, but it works and it does not seem tacky. The table material is very solid and hold the screws tightly. - should come with a few wire plastic snap-ons for the legs. It would be helpful to have that for my wires. In fact, I may suggest to the company to add a few wire management accessories such as Velcro straps, etc. Overall, this is the best and most fun gaming table I've ever had. I have to start with a small complaint: the packaging was garbage. If I ever wanted to return this table, I'd struggle to get it into that tight container and all of the polystyrene that held it in place? Destroyed. So package this great table better. Easy to assemble, even without the instructions. The table is far more sturdy that it appears to be. The wood is seemingly good quality and all of the extra pieces such as the drink holder and the headphone hanger are pretty high quality too. The table surface is fantastic, allowing me to use my mouse if I want to without a pad. The legs are incredibly sturdy and thus far, the monitor stand is holding up to my 40 inch Bravia 1080p TV/monitor, so I'm sure it will do well when I switch to a 40 inch 4k tv soon.     • Excellent little gaming desk, easy to assemble and thoughtful little touches everywhere.

This desk is an excellent upgrade from an equivalently sized glass top metal frame desk I'd had for over 10 years. This desk has a place for the monitor raised off the main desktop area, while there is no slide out keyboard try like my old desk, this won't exactly be missed as that ended up being somewhat cramped and after the years the sliding mechanism didn't work so well even with yearly lubrication. Now I can also put my cup "on" my desk, via the cup holder and not leave stains or water marks on my actual desk surface or need a cup place mat. I also like the Carbon Fiber looking wrap finish as this looks like it'll be way easier to clean dirt, stains or dust off of vs my old desk made of glass that made any little tiny bit of dirt easily visible. The little things to place CDs (does anyone really use that anymore? :P), speakers, cup, and gamepad controllers and even headphones off of the main desktop surface is a nice tough. Size is reasonable, not large so don't expect massive free space to have a keyboard and places for paper or to write on, but large enough you can easily fit a comfortable full-sized keyboard, and mousepad. The little area under the front of the desk (where a slide out keyboard try would typically exist) is just a fixed tray to hold miscellaneous things, but out of the way and out of view, potentially useful touch that I might use. The cord cutouts on both sides is also a nice thoughtful touch. The only real complaint that I have is that the tray in the rear of the lower side of the desk meant to hold a surge protector didn't seem to be deep enough. I got a new APC surge protector that wasn't particularly thick (may even be thinner than my years old CyberPower unit) and once in there, the power cables wouldn't clear the desk with the surge protector in there upgright. So I found a compromise for the moment by placing the surge protector in there upside down for the time being aligning the tray's metal bars to empty spots on the surge protector. This is not ideal and is only a temporary measure because not all the plugs will still be accessible in this manner. But it is useful to get the surge protector off the ground. Just be advised that the tray is not deep enough to fit thick surge protectors and/or certain plugs that extend outward a little more than normal or many "wall wart" type power adapters. ... show more
